- Shane Lowry shot an incredible final round of seven-under 65 to edge Jon Rahm and Rory McIlroy by one shot to win his second Rolex Series title at the 2022 BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth Club.

This week sees the DP World Tour return to the iconic Wentworth Club for the penultimate Rolex Series event of the season, the BMW PGA Championship. A star-studded field will see 2022 FedExCup winner Rory McIlroy and former World No.1 Jon Rahm tee it up, while Billy Horschel will be returning to defend the title he won in 2021. U.S Open champion Matt Fitzpatrick has not missed a cut on the DP World Tour this season and will hope that this consistency will see him improve upon the T20 finish he achieved last year. 2020 BMW PGA Championship winner Tyrell Hatton, 2013 Masters champion Adam Scott and five time DP World Tour event winner Tommy Fleetwood will all be in action in Surrey.

Wow, what a great ending to a fantastic event. To have the likes of Lowry, Rahm, McIlroy and many others in contention.
I think Rahm may have thought he had this won but Shane put together a fantastic round as did Rory.
Shane and Rory are great ambassadors for Irish golf.

Rory is British. He will tell you that himself although he played allot of his golf in Ireland supported through the Gui.

At 2:10 is one of the greatest camera shots I've seen in golf. So cool.
yep, there really needs to be a change with camera angles. The tv shots from US coverage zoom so close into the ball, when we want to see the ball relative to the fairway/green etc.
They should use FPV Drones to follow the balls

Many thanks for posting this… great footage of the winner of the tournament👍👏… because I’ve just spent the past hour watching a pathetic highlights programme on Sky Sports! Note to Sky… why not try again, and this time include the fella who actually won😳Instead, nothing about Lowry from 13-15, no coverage of how he got out of trouble on 17 and didn’t even show his drive on 18! Meanwhile, blanket coverage of McIlroy (who I like, by the way) and others who were between 3 and 8 shots behind. So delighted you gave us this view of the champ - thank you👍⛳️

Shane needs to realize, without LIV the pGA would still be ripping off all members for MILLIONS a year. Liv forced the PGA to start paying the players their worth. I think Rahm deserved to win. Once he's on a charge, it's quite exciting to watch. Perhaps it's time to play this tournament on a different course, otherwise it's quite repetitive year-in-year-out.
