I had a stylist use this method....OMG I tore it off in 3 days. $80 wasted! It itched like no other, and it slid back like a helmet. It was too easy to take off....no damage. It came off like a hat. Lesson learned!!!!🤦🏾♀️
For the itchy girls- y’all need to treat your scalp and oil that baby down lol For the “slid right off”- tighten up your foundation and use bond protection, i sometimes sew or glue along the perimeter for extra support
How do you remove it when it’s time if you glue the edges down? Cuz I thought the whole point of using morning glory was so that it could slide off like a wig when you’re ready to remove it? The girl who just did my quick weave did that & I’m a lil upset about it because by the time I realized it, it was too late 😩🤦🏽♀️
I love quick weaves but the hair strips I feel like I would hear it every time I turn my head but gots2be yes people that are not use to quicksand weaves all you gotta do is wet the hair and everything come out. You will get some glue in your hair but not much I’ve seen peoples hair flourish with quick weaves not as destructive as ppl think
Thats true but at the same time I said that due to how it's pulling on the hair and use of adhesive/gel and slick back. Doesn't seem like it'll do wonders for your hairline honestly especially with prolonged use.
Is that spritz you’re spraying over the cap? That won’t dry out the hair? Just asking because I have thought of these styles, but I’m concerned they will take my hair out.

The hair and scalp is not able to breathe.. the gots2b drying the the hair.... it's more harm than help. I'm sure the style will be cute but this not a protective style
This technique makes no sense, you can't put you finger on the scalp to scratch, and why the "got to be glue"was sprayed on? Is the paper not enough protection?

@A Vibe Called Yes™ Thankyou
Omg I feel so old and I’m just in my thirties 😮
They always wrapped our hair with those after our wash and press with the curls in the middle.
@@tminus6895 Your not old I was born in the 80's
I asked this video creator, she said it's called Wrap strips. Or as A Vibe Called Yes said "Styling strips or styling wraps"

Wow...these Beauticians are so creative!! But I just can't do all these faux styles !! Just way too much on my already thin hair !!
Lé funk beneath that cap after a little sweat in the summer heat😂
I saw an ig video of a woman who removed it after 7 weeks and works out 4 times a week. It has to smell bad.
Do you see her hairline? I really am starting to believe wigs aren't protective at all.
How can you assume it was wigs alone?

Is that paper?????
Is it being sewed into his head

I'm a black girl but never have worn weave. How does this work, can anyone tell me? Is the string "sewn" to her hair???
Dont get it ..your scalp can not breathe and you will die of the itching
The string is sewn on hair that is braided down underneath
So at night 😂oh this gona be fin t yo wake up to
