Mr. Meola, this is def a rough mod. If i can suggest you to just resource gather in that beach area or get a bot asap as bees tend to spawn along the beaches. You can buold on a boat in tje mean time just to get you started and help you progress. Maybe put a box and a bed down and resource until you can make the raft. Honestly will be your best bet to getting started
The safest place to make a base is away from the beaches in between 2 biomes where the spawns taper off. There is also a good spot in the northwest of the crystal area. You go up a grass ramp and its the only way in or out, nothing spawns there and you can block it off easy
spawns are not rated for their difficulty, they are rated for the level of the spawns in the area typically. Easy spawns can have the most dangerous spawns in them but they could be the lowest level in the game.
Forglar has well, a weird spawn map. the island you are on and some small ones around you often have alpha carno and rex spawns, crystal aisles is not as easy as it says lol

He has 100s of hours playing ark, yet many times plays like a complete noob. I've watch many other creators that don't have to employ this tactic. It appears to me at times it's nothing more than a lazy ploy to make a quick daily 30min video.
@TheouTRace I guess some boys are easily entertained. I expect a bit more from someone with 100s of hours playing Ark, and 1.2M subs. Don't get me wrong I enjoy much of his stuff, but some episodes, like this one, appear to be just a lazy way to make a quick 30 min video.

Maybe think about stamina, since at least 2 of your deaths was from not having any stamina
