That one flashes very nicely - I found it on my SGS3 that I used to have - rather swiftly switched it off, then back on - if you can tolerate the psychedelic-ness of it, it's actually pretty interesting - shows you which parts of the screen are being re-rendered.
there is no such thing as 'beast mode' on a touchwiz based rom... if you truly want 'beast mode' then you need to root + flash a custom rom, then overclock the cpu/gpu and voltage
It's a shame that every time a Samsung flagship is released videos like this have to be made. All other phone manufacturers know how to deliver a smooth and fast experience right out of the box so Samsung should be able to do it.

Just like there are a ton of videos of how to make the iphone perform better.
Petar Lazić My Moto X seems faster than my S4 and It's probably faster than the S5. And there's no need to turn off animations or any features to get it to run smoothly.

I love how everytime he mentions the name "beast mode", he pulls up the shirt to show it :) The Animation scaling, while not providing any *real* increased speed, make a huge difference in how fast the phone *feels* - I used it on the SGS3 that I had.
Hey PhoneBuff, you should probably let the viewers know that, most if not all of these steps work on other android devices. The first few steps made my HTC One M8 feel and look much more responsive. And great video as well. Very informational!
These instructions worked quite well with the S4. I have not tried the last step though, I'll wait until Android 5 (which I believe supports that by default).

This doesn't really change anything, it just skips transition animations giving a much less visually stimulating experience.
