This was an AWESOME video. I was trying to figure it out so I really understood it rather than just copy/pasting libraries. You did an awesome job ! My only suggestion would be to invest some time/money into audio. Even Nvidias broadcast software can get rid of that ambient noise. Your videos are worth it 😀
Sound quality and even consistent volume is something I've improved on since this video but for sure I still need to work on. Making each video honestly takes me far longer than I think it should - I try to learn one new trick for each new video. Very glad to hear you still found the content helpful in spite of my amateurish videography skills!
I need to send an 8 byte data to a serial port. Each byte represents a field like D for display, L for right, a numeral value for brighness etc. For 3rd byte, I need to store row and column value which is an integer with 4 bits each. Can I please know how to split the single byte to store two values?
Watch the section on bit-shifting again. You'll create your two variables, then shift the bits of one of them to the left. When received, you'll need to set a variable equal to the 8bitVar & 00001111 and another equal to 8bitVar shifted over by 4 bits.
This video is way underrated. Absolutely fantastic explanation.
Thank you! I just try to create content that I had a hard time finding.
Thank you, I was lost for a couple of days until I found this video!!
Best explanation I've ever seen though I've been searching for such a video for a while. Thanks, great job and keep it up!
Glad it helped!

I personally much much prefer a PDF rather than a youtube video
