If we’re being very Honest. Zack is probably just the… heaviest. I’m a pretty heavy guy and that makes it really easy to lift big weights at the gym lol
This may sound a bit lame, but when the Underdogs were doing the planking, I actually did stop the video, and I did my first ever 2+ minute plank because of it! So I guess thank you for the motivation, and I'm super excited for where this channel takes the 4 funnymen in the future!

I’ve been averse to gyms beyond cardio and never tried weights. But Zack’s 55kilo performance was downright euphoric to watch. Way to freaking go dude. Zacks gym routine probably doesn't exist. As a fat dude myself, to quote my doctor as to why I'm strong: "Imagine carrying 30 kilo of dead weight around always, that what makes you strong". The same is true for Zack, being the chubbiest underdog means he has the most dead weight meaning he lifts the most when doing normal shit like standing up and bending over and general normal life stuff. You can simulate it living with extra weights on yourself, but realistically it's unfeasible. For context when I was in highschool I weight 110kg, and those sitting foot press things went up to 150. I had no issue whatsoever with maxing it out as for me it was functionally like I deadlifting 40kg, which any healthy highschooler of my height should be able to do without much issue I imagine. Meanwhile my friend who was 70kg couldn't come close to maxing it out, as for him it was functionally like deadlifting 80kg even though he was much sportier (granted he rid his bike 3 hours a day to get to and from school, but didn't do any power training). I might use the term deadlift wrong though.
I think Peter could have done a bit more on the deadlifts if he doesn’t yank the bar slightly at the start. But well done to all the underdogs, especially Zack who I underestimated
These “IRL” videos have done a great job in highlighting even more skills they have beyond gaming and video production. Above all, these videos make me feel like I’m hanging out with good friends, which is a feeling I haven’t had in my personal life for what feels like *AGES* !
You guys gassing each other up in the gym is so wholesome and awesome! I used to have a tightknit group of friends like this back in college and it was some of my favorite times. Getting to be along for the ride and see you all having fun out of Smash like this is making me so happy and nostalgic

But you forget, being pudgy means you need more mass to hold your body upright than being scrawny. I didn't expect you to go out that easily.

Good job Underdogs! I'm glad that you were all keeping good form on everything! I'd hate to see any of you injured! I did the plank for 1:50 and stopped there, I think I might have been able to hold it for another 10 seconds or so but I haven't exercised in a few years so it was brutal!

As someone who has been lifting for a couple years, I can’t comprehend how someone who can’t bench 120 lbs can somehow deadlift over 300 lbs. that shit shouldn’t be possible. But zack is just too swole
Somewhat active fat people (which I'm assuming Zack is) can have fairly strong legs compared to in-shape people that aren't athletes. We're basically wearing weights with us always, except they're part of our bodies.
I actually paused and did 2 minutes, haven't planked in probably a year and my shoulders are weak, but i weigh about 2 leaves so I guess i had that for me. Encourage people to try it too, but safely
I'd never done it before. Keep in mind I'm fixing to turn 42 later in the year and I hurt my lower back a few years ago that never properly healed, and I hit about a minute and a quarter. I think if my lower back didn't start hurting I might have been able to hit higher.

Whenever I actually exercised in the past, I focused more on cardio, but perhaps I should try focusing on strength training. It's important to build as much muscle as you can first which helps you burn more fat. This is cause muscle needs energy just to exist/maintain. The most important is to eat less calories to burn fat.

I've never timed myself planking before, but Zack challenged us to get out of the chair and try, and I managed to hit 00:58. Super happy to have at least beaten Zack, who can deadlift WAY more than me
This was a really amazing video; not only was it absolutely full of entertainment and all around good vibes, but it also taught me that no matter your current body type there's no wrong in going to the gym to better yourself. You all really made it pretty fun to hang around with friends doing exercise and showed us that different bodies are better suited for different activities but in the end there's no real winning, only growing stronger and better. As someone that struggles with weight problems this video made me feel a lot better, so thank you Underdogs, for this great video

The trap bar is easier to deadlift since the centre of gravity is aligned more with your body. Still impressive though

It's important to build as much muscle as you can first which helps you burn more fat. This is cause muscle needs energy just to exist/maintain. The most important is to eat less calories to burn fat.

Agreed. I assuming he hasn't trained deadlifting and for a first time. That was very impressive weight. Its weird that he was so weak on the bench though. I was expecting him to at least put up 60kg. But his legs and back are strong as shit.
@@Hater20X You don't walk on your upper body. It's fat people leg strength from carrying around 30-40kg extra all day your entire life. Not hating at all btw just how it is. I'm the same way, also definitely have above average leg strength because of weight.

This was a really amazing video; not only was it absolutely full of entertainment and all around good vibes, but it also taught me that no matter your current body type there's no wrong in going to the gym to better yourself. You all really made it pretty fun to hang around with friends doing exercise and showed us that different bodies are better suited for different activities but in the end there's no real winning, only growing stronger and better. As someone that struggles with weight problems this video made me feel a lot better, so thank you Underdogs, for this great video
