My daughter is studying fashion and McQueen is the god. If you learn to sew and cut patterns you have the power. Fashion schools do not not teach these skills of tailoring nowadays, Mc Queen was great because he understood and was amazing at fabricating clothes that fit bodies and make them wonderfully beautiful. RIP We will love you forever.
I know this vid is about models but there will never be another Alexander McQueen. RIP

His clothes are obviously impeccable and I find them so inspiring. I love the clothes but why is every theme so DARK. I think the clothes speak for themselves without the theatrics.

In general as a brand they seem to refuse to work with models that are sort of celebrities. I got the impression they want to disappear in the character.
There’re exceptions like Kate Moss though.
