Texas Democratic Congressman Colin Allred joins MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell to discuss his bid to unseat Sen. Cruz, who has long history of supporting efforts to restrict abortion rights.

You have to go out there like a preacher, and tell people why they should Vote Blue. There are lots of issues, not just women's rights. Just look at the working class, you could advocate for them, rebuke corporate, which is totally responsible for the state of the economy for the middle class. It makes no sense to raise minimum wages, than raised the prices on everything. At the end we lose, we get poorer, and the filthy rich... This system hasn't worked. It has left the worker behind. Not only that, corporate is move by Greed. Now, they're firing human beings, and replacing them with machines. It's all over. The government needs to look into it. Each machine that replaces a worker, corporate should pay higher taxes, or something
We were better off when we made 3 dollars an hour. We were able to make a living, and even buy a home. What's going on in the economy is beyond crazy. No way it is going to be sustainable for much longer. It has to do with corporate never wanting to lose a dime. The loss has to come from someone, that is ( Us ) Salaries go up, so do the prices. I rarely donate, but this year I’m donating to Allred and the Democratic Candidate for North Carolina. There are a few others. If Allred doesn’t get support it’s almost a guarantee he will lose, but with support I think he can win.
