- Texas A&M and TCU played in the College Station Regional Final in the 2022 College Baseball Season. Texas A&M would advance to the Super Regionals with a win, while TCU needed a win to force a winner take all game 7.

I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

I was in Florida, so I was watching in eastern time. Had to be up at 6 the next morning for my vacation plans, but at 1:00 am I was watching Aggie baseball. Don’t regret it at all

i’m in france atm, we are 6 hours ahead of college station, turned this game on at 4:30, i was up til 7:30

Why is TCU home team?
Honestly no idea
Since it’s a tournament they can be the home team even if A&M is the host.
Idk. It’s literally our regional on our field and we are 2-0. You’d think they would reward us for winning. The only explanation I have it a coin flip

Regional rules are whoever’s been home team less gets to be home. If there’s a tie breaker they’ve got like 4-5 ways to determine and it typically favors the lower seeded team. I think it’s dumb being a top 8 seed and not getting to be home, but it ended up not mattering thankfully.
