hey bro, a real honest review. I'm deciding b/n Cort Earth 100 ( this model ) , YAMAHA FG830 and GUILD D240 E. Now I know that Big guitars takes more effort to play while singing so I prefer small model. What's your take on that?
Hi man, thanks for the comment. I don't really have an experience on using guild d240. But what I do know is the yamaha fg830 packs a tremendous punch in the low-end, perfect to backup vocals. If you're gonna play and sing i highly recommend the Yamaha over the cort. Just keep on eye on the yamaha when using a higher guage strings(.13 or higher), since they're a bit sensitive on humidity.
Or if you can get a Cort Earth 100 RW (Rosewood back and sides instead of mahoganny). These are discontinued now but if you can get one, you'll get yourself a wonderful instrument for singing.... Check them out. Cheers!
Sir, qq 2021 version ba yung cort 100 nyo? Pansin ko kasi yung mga new cort 100 manipis ang tunog and lacks bass and warmth. Should i go for the sunburst version kung may epekto sa sounds?
My version is 2014. Kpag ang guitara manipis ang tunog. Masyadong mkapal ang bracing pati yung top wood. Hindi nkaka vibrate ng tama. As far as I know. Walang audible difference ang kulay ng guitara, ang nakaka affect is yung kapal ng coating (paint) or lacquer. Mas makapal mas less vibration, mas manipis mas more vibration. . . . Hope this helps
brader miron akong cort earth 100 din, kaso nawala ang allen wrench nya so medyo mataas na neck nya ngaun. baka alam mu kung anong size at san makakabili ni2.
Matibay ba yung cort guitars when it comes to humidity and temperature? Or do I have to take any measures to prevent it from getting damaged? Di kaya madadamage if nasa gig bag lng if di nmn ginagamit?
In my experience yes, mas resilient sya sa temperature and humidity kumpara sa ibang acoustic guitar na nagamit ko. When it comes to getting damaged, just don't take it too far. never ever live any "wood" instrument sa loob ng car or any place na wlang ventilation sa heat. Besides that, with a proper oiling every 3 months and string change every 3 months(to avoid corrosion in the tuning pegs). Tatagal tlga sya.
Hi! I'll recommend the cort tho. Its has UV coating while the Phoebus pg20 doesn't. If you're currently living in a humid country, i suggest not buying a satin finished guitar due to it being more susceptible with humidity changes. Plus the Cort earth 100 is solid top(sitka spruce) and the phoebe is not. Thanks for watching! Hope this helps 🙏 God bless
Stock bracing is nka scallop. Pero even nka scallop bracing sya. Medjo stiff parin ang bracing sa top and back. Kaya minodify ko yung thickness and yung flexibility nang top & back bracing .
@@Cheezeemousetrap1081 oo kailanga practical na tayo ngayun mahal lang ang pangalan ng yamaha...ok ba ang neck ng CORT bro? kasi may YAMAHA ako dati ganda ng neck ganda ng playability...
Mas worth it cort earth 100. Nka satin finished ksi yung B&S ng earth 70 *Mas prone sa scratches. When it comes to the sound, Earth 70 is more open sounding with a little bit less bass compare sa earth 100. Earth 100 is more focused and has more kick and chug sound perfect sa lowered tuning. . . . Hope this helps man. 😀

Thanks for the tips! Appreciate the info on the UV coating, humidity, and solid top. Definitely helps! 🙏

@@Cheezeemousetrap1081 kasi planning to buy acoustic itong cort earth 100 at yamaha fg800 ang pinag pili.an ko..
Go with cort. Mas okay ang quality Sa lower end models. If you go yamaha, it will be slightly more expensive pero parehas lang nman ang quality.
