Omg Y’all Are So Amazing. Thank You. Y’all have really showed mad support and given him great advice. I really appreciate it. Please continue to throw good vibes his way. And we will start getting better and better. Please keep watching us on this journey.
First let me say the way you supported your husband while he was struggling with the bike was absolutely beautiful! I'm subscribing from that alone. Secondly, I just want him to know to always start off in first gear make sure you give it gas (preload) and ease off the clutch and he will find it much easier. And lastly there is a content creator on here named Robert Simmons( forgive me if I misspelled that) his channel is called be the boss of your motorcycle. He will help your husband with slow speed skills and building confidence. Preload and keep it loaded, you will soon understand that. I wish you both and your family they best. Be blessed and Happy Birthday! Black love!💪🏿💪🏿
Howard, you got it right, Robert Simmons and "keep it loaded". With practice-you'll master every nuance of bike riding, and, look good doin' it! Then, is the "CDI quotiant"-chicks dog it, where you can turn your bike around from a stand still without doing "the duck waddle" (Joe paligrino), former police motorcycle officer. His:"ride like a pro" series will do the trick to get you "stylin' and profylin'" in no time! A fellow biker, Doug 🏍️👍🤓
Robert is good, but Jerry Paladino taught me how to ride a Glide through his YT videos. You will learn things from watching his videos that you can't teach yourself.
Congrats on the new Harley-Davidson! Take your time bro and practice. It will come. Big shot out to your wife! Major supportive! Blessings to you and your family!
Happy Birthday to you brother. Your wife knocked it out the park with the bike. I too was a new rider about 2 years ago and what helped me out tremendously was I took the riding course and had several private lessons. It help me a lot with my confidence and overall riding experience. Congratulations again and be safe
We all need the kind of support you gave him. I was just like him when I got my bike, dropping the bike was almost like second nature to me for about 2+ weeks. It gets better, enjoy.
Props for jumping on an 870-pound, 1800 cc bike as his first bike. That is a big challenge and he did well. Also, the support you show him is beautiful. If more women treated their men like this the world would be a better place. He is going to be having so much fun in 100 days from this moment
Wow dude your first bike and you are on a road glide. Congratulations and I felt proud of you that you did not get frustrated and kept trying to bring it up. Definitely following and support
He’ll get it. Very good for first time on big bike. My first bike was a road king. I managed and mastered it now. He just needs lots of slow speed practice. He’ll get it. Don’t give up.
Love the support shown to your husband . Thats all us brothers need sometimes to keep going . Congrats on the bike brother . I just got a road king and i know the struggle . We got this . Keep riding !
1st HBD bruh! 🎉 2nd the support from your wife and her positivity was amazing. I do have to admit I cringed a little watching that beautiful new bike falling. Thank goodness for the crash bars. I suggest you take the beginners riders course and keep practicing!
Beautiful!! A dream come true! Thank you Lord. He did do good, you could see, he was being careful and just learning but he knew how to do the right thing with the brakes and clutch. He's gonna be fine. Enjoy your bike man congrats!
Good job both of y’all. I just started a few months ago. I know how it feels to be nervous especially on a steep hill. You did a great job at not getting mad or giving up. Your wife is supporting and she cares. Ride safe
I just found this video. Your wife is amazing woman. You will get better just keep on practicing. Ride safe . Anyone who has ever ridden a motorcycle will agree it’s a amazing feeling.
Happy birthday. Enjoy the bike she's gorgeous. Tough neighborhood to learn. Take the course at harley if you haven't and look for that friction zone. Your lady is a super trooper. I was married 18 years and couldn't get a cup of coffee.
You guys are great! I remember going through these things learning. Some unsolicited advice, 1. Preload the clutch until you hit the friction zone and back off just a bit. Its easier to take off and wont stall. 2. Give it gas on takeoff, the bike will stay up the faster you go. 3. All new riders should take the msf class and start on a smaller bike. A Harley is too heavy for a beginner. A vstar 650 or something like that would help you learn better. All in all, great job! Keep at it!
I love this video. It reminds me of my first time 20yrs ago, on a Sportster. Good job and happy Birthday. Damn I made my comment before seeing him ride "Up" the Driveway. WOW!! Good job man. I laughed when you call your wife over. Sometimes we need a little pep to relax us.
Happy Birthday 🎂. You are such an inspiration. He will be fine. Your encouragement and love will take him. I'm going to to keep track , blessings to to you and your family.
Great support from your Wife. Keep it up and your be fine. For a first time rider and a hill to go up is tough. You will be the Boss of your motorcycle.
That’s a good woman right there! Absolutely love the encouragement. I’ve been riding for 30 years. Motorcycle safety course is invaluable. (and he should have listened to your idea of getting momentum before going up the driveway…that would have helped him stay upright). Happy birthday!
Im a few days late watching your video. I absolutely love it. I did the same thanng when I got RODAN. I was unsure of the power that existed with that thang. The shift in weight. The brake operating etc. But u got on that boy and did what we do. Congrats on the new bike and welcome to this side of the world...motorcycle life baby!!!!
Lmao at him, only because that was me back in 2021 when I purchased my Roadkind from my best friend. Never rode nor owned a Hog. After 2 weeks I became more confident and rode on expressways, back curved & hilly roads. Congrats man take your time and ride your ride even with friends. They will watch out for you. I stayed in the back 2nd to last til I became comfortable in a group. Two wheels down nothing like Wind Therapy great support from your Wife.
Happy Birthday and may you have many more, especially on your new bike. You have a great lady that loves you, we all see the support she gives you with encouragement. God Bless and yes on the practice some. I've been there myself. 😊 CONGRATULATIONS 🤗
Nice! I remember the first time on a bike. Think I was 8 years old, and almost as happy as this dude. Stopped riding in my 20's and got back in for my 50th and purchased 2019 RG (similar bike). Even though I knew how to ride I took the MSF course. Taught me things I never thought of. Great course and highly recommend. Hope you are still riding. Keep rubber side down. Peace!
Happy Birthday my brother. Keep riding. Recommend taking the safety course at the local Harley dealer. I started on a Honda 350 and worked my way up. Never quit!
I absolutely loved this video! Your support of your husband as he’s learning how to ride is amazing. I would suggest definitely to take the safety course, and also there are several channels on here such as Robert Simmons and also Boots & Jeans Riders who have safety videos too. Happy birthday bro! I’m a subscriber!
A road glide as a starter bike is kinda crazy lol you know what they say run before u walk lol God Bless! Ride safe bro. Ur wife is a trooper for sure. Happy Birthday 🎉
The wife is A1 I love the support and Happy king day bro just take your time you'll get it 💯 Just let off the clutch a little and give it a little throttle going up the hill big dawg
Congrats dude! Just a tip for rolling up hill cause i had struggled too when i first started. Lean on your left your side, clutch all the way in. Right foot on the brake. And right hand on throttle only, no front brake. Give it some moderate RPM and ease off the clutch and start taking pressure of rear brake slowly. Thats when you start climbing up the hill. But good job dude! Amazing family too!
I’m telling you bro….check out Robert Simmons. I owe 95% of my slow speed success to his videos. Even though I fully understand his concepts I still watch his videos regularly as a form of mental practice. I’ve been exactly where you are and Robert Simmons paying it forward videos are the truth! As they say…”the truth shall set you free!”
We've all been that rider, but we all haven't had that support. Practice makes perfect. Ride your ride and don't feel pressured by anyone. You'll have it in no time. Take that beautiful machine to a parking lot and get used to it!
Saw your vid and couldn’t keep scrolling.. Great that the journey has begun and don’t take this as a slight but PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE consider parking that thing up and taking an MSF course..! U can easily find one online near you.. I’ve been on bikes for over 30 years and they DO NOT FORGIVE. I would be happy to speak with y’all directly if you’re interested in getting help and potentially saving this brutha’s life. I’m not selling anything and I don’t want anything in return.. I’m Just a concerned dude who knows bikes and KNOWS what he’s looking at.. Blessing..!
Beautiful family..... My brother , I wish I was there when you were in that driveway. THAT'S VVVVery dangerous...... could've went bad. I was scared for you, now I'm PROUD OF YOU....... CHICAGO SUBURBS, CHECKING IN.
Came across this video as I am purchasing a new bike today as a new rider. This serves as a 100% great motivational tool, completed with around the clock support 💪🏾💯. Great job, and Thanks 👌🏾subscribed
Congrats on your new bike and happy belated birthday. I highly recommend a driving academy and practicing in a parking lot. Harley has riding academies, and that's where I learned my riding skills. Keep practicing and don't get discouraged. Practice makes perfect.
First thing first, Happy Birthday. Second, big props to such a supporting partner. She's amazing. She loves you maannnn!!!!!!!!. About the bike, I know the feeling of riding such a heavy, expensive bike. But if you practice every time you ride you'll get it. Remember, Friction Zone, Head and eyes and little pressure on the rear break. While doing slow speed maneuvers, never use the front break. The bike will fall if you grab a handful of front break. Watch Ride Like a Pro and Robert Simmons for guidance. Once you get the technique down, riding will be more fun. Go get it. Never leave your very supporting wife. They don't come around this often. Good luck and ride safe.
Happy Birthday and congrats on the new bike. Ride at your speed and practice all you can. By the way I got the same bike... Your one lucky man stay safe. brother
Omg Y’all Are So Amazing. Thank You. Y’all have really showed mad support and given him great advice. I really appreciate it. Please continue to throw good vibes his way. And we will start getting better and better. Please keep watching us on this journey.
Slow Hills rides can be tough on any motorcycle

Thanks for the info sharing with Robert Simmons. YES,we that group, PRELOADERS NATION, will tighten Steve up real quick....💯😎 ~Rufus Sims Jr ~
I agree. Mr. Simmons is a good teacher. I hope to one day take his course.
That's how you spell it lol I'd know it's my last name
Robert is good, but Jerry Paladino taught me how to ride a Glide through his YT videos. You will learn things from watching his videos that you can't teach yourself.
Nice bike ..and support....Take the Motorcycle safety course.....
Congrats on the new Harley-Davidson! Take your time bro and practice. It will come. Big shot out to your wife! Major supportive! Blessings to you and your family!
