Next time add wasabi into the soy sauce and stir it up good. It’s basically Japanese horseradish. Really kicks off the sushi and sushi rolls. First thing you tried was sashimi, sushi without the rice underneath. Fave for me is spicy tuna rolls where they also have sliced jalapeños on the plate; add a slice to the sushi roll piece, then dip in teriyaki sauce. The spicy/sweet combo is really good.
