This format is interesting. We always have problems to access our parking garage with traditional trailers, because we have 1m85cm maximum height limit to go through the main gate. As a rock band, suspension of the trailer and resistance to possible break ins are also crucial factors.
Is it good for an adult Motocross bike? My main concern is security when staying overnight at a track. Do you have a good suggestion for locking the side door and barn door? Thanks
Hi Ben, Yes, I would say this trailer model is great for an adult Motocross bike. Regarding security the side personnel door has locks and latches both top and bottom. Regarding the rear ramp / barn door - the right hand latch on the outside is drilled ready to take a pad lock. The other thing we have done is fitted stainless loops on the inside of the trailer at the rear on both the side wall and also ramp, so that when the ramp is closed you can place a padlock through the sets of loops to secure on both sides and then come out through the personnel door. Hi, With the size of the bike and possible screen height, I would suggest looking at the Cargo 1300 / C300 models. With these models you also gee the benefit of a lower load bed height and the Pullman 2 suspension (coil spring with a shock absorber).
