      You can’t judge how any one talks when thrust into a situation like that. Nothing is as black and white as - “the way they sound” that would be some bargain basement policing if you did.

      @zerocool5395 3 months ago +74

      @ferguscorbella5277 Give me a reason why I'm wrong. Practice has shown that the right to remain silent and the right to legal representation exist for very good reasons. No-one except you will exercise these rights for you, so everyone should be prepared to put them to good use.

She definitely coddled the female but was confrontational to the guy even after he told the truth. 19:12 she said I can tell your lying by your reaction. Well I can tell from his reaction that he’s telling the truth! Lady detective says “Oh well it sounds like she was trying to accuse you of something”
      No, it doesn’t! It sounds like she was trying to get him to cover for her! She had a narrative in her head that proved to be incorrect.

      I was babysitting a very rambunctious toddler along with my two toddlers. Then the mom (k) added her older two kids on top (one of which was a nightmare). I was having mental breakdown one after the other, told mom this and that she needed to find new care and she never even tried to find a new sitter. I had to tell her “I will not be opening my door to you on Monday” before she finally stopped coming over. Not that this mom would have done what K did to me- but some people are just so dismissive and selfish they’d continue sending their kids into bad situations.

    • @Cubey42
      @Cubey42 8 months ago +95

      @BloodInkPages its about reactions, JCS has a great video about this, but even though she knows what's true, she is testing him by turning up the pressure of going down for this as well to see how he reacts, a big flag is that he straight up gave them his phone even before she brought it up (which she definitely would have had he tried protect her as well) but innocent people tend to become distraught or even sometimes angry when accused of something, you can see how uncomfortable he becomes.

    • @RevVoice2
      @RevVoice2 8 months ago +105

      @BloodInkPages She pushed on him - walked in the other room - and then recognized the girl was lying. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the interrogator pushing on the guy... that's her job. 'I can tell you're lying' is a tactic. She accused him for all of 30 seconds, walked next door, and promptly stopped accusing the minute the girl said 'I was just asking if he's ok'.

      In a legal sense, she didn't "murder" the baby. People love to use that word to say when someone's actions causes a person to lose their life. She'll probably be convicted of manslaughter. To "murder" a person, that means you intended for that person to die, you wanted that person to die. She only tried to pin it on the bf after they found out the baby had passed away

      She had the female detective fooled, convinced her boyfriend did it. It’s much easier for women to get away with false accusations and lie their way out from under suspicion in general. It’s caused some very serious problems for quite a number of people. Hell, it’s put people on death row, caused mob lynchings, and led to some of the most infamous incidents in history. That’s not to say that men haven’t been absolutely monsters as well, but women in particular have a unique ability to sob and lie their way out of it.

      “reading body language” is pseudoscientific nonsense and i don’t know why people take self-proclaimed ‘experts’ on it seriously. you get the truth through evidence and investigation, not unprovable bullshit like having your legs crossed or blinking too often. there’s a reason she’s a detective and not you. The job is about lining stories up with reality, not conjuring up some nonsense about how you think the way that the suspect is moving reveals their guilt. show me one court where ‘body language’ is admissible evidence. one. Lies are easily disproven, by actually lining them up with facts and evidence, not by pretending you can read minds because the guy youre questioning picked his nose exactly 5 times and shifted his seating position 13 times and that means ‘guilty’. get real. nobody knows why people act the way they are acting just by looking, and anyone who says they can are liars, con artists, scammers, etc.

Absolutely pure evil and she is very manipulated and a liar thoughout the police interrogation.

    I left my 6 week old baby with a woman who claimed to be an experienced babysitter and mother. About 45 minutes after I left, she called me and told me my baby hadn't stopped crying. She couldn't handle it. She put my baby in a crib, left the room, shut the door, and called me. I hope this woman has all of the positive karma in the world because her actions truly saved my baby's life. This is the way to handle when you are overwhelmed.

      The same thing happened with my mother. I left my son who was about 2, with my mom while I was going to see my husband in the ICU I never left my son with anyone at that point and the very first time did, when going to see my husband, I had literally just walked in his room at the hospital and my mother called flipping out. She couldn't find his binky and he was crying. SHE was yelling and screaming, and I could hear my son crying in the backround I gave my husband a kiss and ran out of the room and sped home in a snowstorm. Needless to say he's never been left with anyone since. I don't have reliable people in my life that I could count on the actually care about my son. It's sad. But better safe than sorry. Hes only been with me or my husband( his daddy)

      6:50 - I can't even IMAGINE. I remember the absolute PANIC I felt one time when my infant was choking...and all the thoughts that went through my mind at lightning speed...thinking that an ambulance would be at least five minutes away, every second without oxygen leads to increased levels of brain damage, my baby either being a vegetable for the rest of his life, or just GONE entirely. I was able to dislodge the food item he was choking on with the two finger swipe and frantically patting him on the back at a downward angle...but I was shaking and upset for DAYS afterwards. Those few seconds where he wasn't breathing were just burned into my very soul. I can't even IMAGINE the unbearable AGONY this poor mom felt when she heard her baby wasn't breathing...and when she saw the paramedics bringing her daughter out of that house on a stretcher. 😰😭😭😭😭

She pushed with a serious accusation and the dude flipped on his GF in an instant and even unlocked it to show the messages.Led to a detailed confession and a slam dunk case for the prosecution.

      @katteresa6174 This is the problem today. No one wants to be corrected, they just want to stay dumb. Correcting someone isn't bad, you know? If no one corrects them then they keep making themselves look foolish. The only upside for them is they get left-wing liberals with pink hair, septum piercings, tatts and a 5 o'clock shadow foolishly jumping to their defence in the comments section. Stupid is as stupid does, I guess.

    Why was this lady so convinced the boyfriend was lying and not the babysitter?

    • @kidindacardboardmask
      @kidindacardboardmask 8 months ago

      Because usually that is the case that the boyfriend did something. A psychopathic female murderer who kills a baby is not common. The detective started with the most common situation, and the evidence showed it was different.
      Same thing with s-abuse: 9/10 it’s a nonbiological male having access to the child that is the cause, so that’s why police seldom expect a female perpetrator when it happens, because it rarely happens.

    Imagine being so egotistical and self-absorbed that you think it's a normal reaction to the death of a baby in your care to run over to your sister's house because you "needed somebody". Only concerned about comforting YOURSELF and not even wondering if this child in crisis can be saved.

      Unfortunately for all the viewers, this 28 minute video is sensationalized from over 3+ hours of interrogation. This company submits FOIA requests for salacious investigations and then content farms out to masses for $$. They should post link to full video for those making ignorant comments about detective “being tough” to one party and “easy” on another.
      FOIA request also doesn’t show ALL interviews conducted with additional information-not public information until trial.
      Be respectful of all involved and remember that no hateful speech will bring back sweet baby Sylvie.

      Condescending idiot. Most women in positions of “power” are. I’m a woman, call me sexist. Women cops, lawyers, judges, doctors, nurses, politicians, teachers…. Vile women are attracted to these professions. They are very biased and usually extremely sexist towards men because they feel so threatened and they need to “prove” themselves, always on the defense.

      @TroubleWithTribbles8011 8 months ago +12

      It's semi-intentional. It's a tactic. and some of it is just the way she naturally carries herself. But to come off as very feminine, polite, gentle, sweet, etc, is an interview tactic. It's a non-threatening demeanor which invites admissions during interviewing.

    • @Butterflyybabe
      @Butterflyybabe 8 months ago

      It’s a tactic. She knows the boyfriend is innocent but she has to really make him feel like he is on the line incase he knew her temper or any other clues or issues so he would tell it all. For all we know he could wanna save his partner no matter what.
