    I enabled the acoustic couple on my teletype, played this out loud, and it started printing exactly what was being transmitted in the video. amazing.

      Same (and greetings from 2024)! Came here just to do that. What an incredible experience to see the thing recognizing the audio and just flying to life. All the repair work paid off 😝

      This was my question - whether subband coding on the video stream would kill the signal. Thanks for reporting!

    It's crazy to think that these very same tones date back into a time before JFK was sadly assassinated! Not to mention the equipment from that time remaining backwards-compatible!

      @@Goldenkrew3000 Actually, 8 minutes ping would be a colony orbiting close to the Sun, not Mars. On Mars, it could be around ~20 minutes ping tops from what I've heard.

      Either way, you still can't play fortnite, which is fantastic (not sarcasm), but you also can't get youtube videos. Oh well, mars will have its own internet, with its own copyright laws.

    This was better than being inside a house that was thermostat pre-heated for 5 hours to 85F, with 12 1080p perfectly placed cameras for later review, with a 19-year-old female model riding me on top for 13 minutes and finishing it off with a near cardiac arrest pulse of 188 bps and 28-second-long nearly screaming orgasm then fainting for about 1.25 seconds. 300-2400 BPS NEGOTIATION sounds give me 'post taking Viagra type drugs' effect every time, and it might be because it was near Pub-ER-tee in the early stages. I like to write about pewburrtee, drugs, models and Commodore 64's oh and the good ole days 1982-1985. GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!!

    How did you do this setup?

    • @lAMNOTGOOMBA
      @lAMNOTGOOMBA  3 года назад +1

      So basically I'm using a program called Minimodem in two terminals (one setup to transmit and the other to receive) and routing the audio to a VOIP client, which I'm using to call a BBS (which may or may not still be functional; it's been a few years)

    • @happynow2926
      @happynow2926 3 года назад

      Astounding. How did you get the voip client's audio to channel into that one terminal and the other terminal's audio to channel into the other terminal and voip client as well? Was it a simple audio configuration or did you do something physical with gour computer mic/speakers?
