Beautufullllll!!
My two year old son and i LOVE watching your videos! He goes outside to dig/find his own every day!!
-Much love from Vermont!
That’s so awesome, thanks so much for watching! If you were on Facebook check out the Crystal clubhouse, we are doing a meet up in New Hampshire in a couple of days and another one in Herkimer for crystals the week after that
Old disabled house bound dusty rusty Rockhound there: seeing y'all in that dirt made me wax nostalgic for my good old day
Matrix is a darling little fluff ball, he always looks clean and groomed even though you always take him to dig sites 💕
Yes he is such a cute little dog! Somehow even though he gets dirty, he cleans himself up very nicely, and I give them a bath every now and then, 😆 🐶
Big Thanks man for your awesome and informative videos. Very entertaining and exciting. Matrix is a good dog and digging pal also he's very lucky.
Thanks so much for the awesome support it’s much appreciated!
So beautiful! My birthstone is Amethyst! I love that you get to spend time in nature and explore while finding amazing finds, so awesome! Also gotta love it when Matrix speaks 😄
Mine too!
Can’t wait to get back into the Carolinas this winter and dig for amethyst, I’ve been missing it! The last couple years I didn’t do too much there but this year I’m going to really go after it, amethyst I think maybe my favorite!
@@TheCrystalCollector Wow! That’s so awesome & I hope you make another video there for us to see. I hope you get a good one or multiple! The private dig you did was amazing with dallymd & logan paul! Btw my bfs name is Amos & the Amethysts you found with your Amos were all so gorgeous!
Beautiful!! You are the best! Good finding. Matrix is a real cute boy. Best dog ever. Stay blessed
✨🙌💎💜
Another awesome dig! I'm living my best life vicariously through the Crystal Collector!😁
💎✨🙏💜💜⚒⚒⚒💎
I've been studying wild mushrooms for about 15 years and they're Armillaria melea aka honey mushrooms. I combine my love of mushrooms with my love of rockhounding 🤩😁
Oh well, I need to learn my mushrooms! Thanks for the information, I hear they are edible!
If you wish to learn more about mushrooms I run a Facebook group called Virginia Mushroom Hunters and would love to have ya there. I do all my teaching on that platform. Also would love to meet up and go rockhounding and mining if you're ever in the Virginia region, I've got a spot I can take you that I find fine Virginia blue quartz that have cat's eyes and asterics ☺️💎🍄 Love watching your videos, WHAAAAAAAAT 💪💎
@@eugenehudders5231 Oh, Im in the VA region, is it a publicly open spot? I would like to go there
Around 9:30 Brian you had a chigger or tick on your thumb
Can't be certain without seeing the gills. They could be omphalotus, which are toxic. The camera doesn't quite get colours quite right.
Beautiful Amethyst scepters. Matrix wins my heart every time. I know where that Deer Hill mine is next time I'm up that way I will stop.
Yes it’s a pretty fun area, very few crystals though, I would prefer moat mountain about an hour down the road in New Hampshire
Hello 👋 I'm watching this from my home in "New Zealand "🇭🇲 so enjoy watching you.
That’s so cool! I bet New Zealand is so beautiful, always wanted to visit there! They have a really good surf spot called Ragland Bay that I would love to surf one day!
@@TheCrystalCollector Hi my friend yes Raglan is where my ancestors are from. I hope one day you come to New Zealand 🇳🇿 ❤ I will take u around.🤗🥰
Hey Buddy thanks for sharing this. I wish I could go here
Been to Deer Hill a few times but this last time my son and I found some great Amethyst. I got a little cluster and he found a scepter! He also found a cluster you left behind that’s shown in this video. Thanks for the great content and tips! We hope you enjoyed your visit to the New England area!
Oh wow that’s wild! He found the one that we left, that’s pretty cool!
That was awesome!! Matrix …so cute 🥰 love these videos, now I need to go find some too! Thank you so much for posting your adventures
Welcome to my home state! Lots of mining places!
Yes seems like I could spend weeks or months up here!
They may be small but they are beautiful crystals Bryan and my favourite piece is the last sceptre you found it has everything and the purple is a wonderful shade. That was quite a hike up to the top, and Matrix didn't seem bothered by it at all lol. I love it when he said he wanted to go home, that is so funny and so clever too lol. Buster and you found quite a few crystals so it's well worth the effort to sift the dirt to find them. Good luck and happy fossicking my friend God bless you and Matrix love and hugs to you both Mary-Ellen UK
Yes the crystals were small but worth the sifting. Matrix seems to do week around 2-3 miles but around 3 or so and that’s all he can do in a day. His little legs 😆
Happy to see you on here ✨🙏
I heard back 100 years ago they found really large ones!
@@TheCrystalCollector You can't dig outside the boundary area, but I'm sure it's legal to just look around on the surface!
@@MushroomMagpie the rules are actually "mineral collecting and ground disturbance" are only allowed inside of the marked boundary areas. The same goes for neighboring Lord Hill which is also great for prospecting and directly next to this location deerhill. They are both on each other's Maps. They really don't care if you're digging or just walking around picking up off the surface, they don't want you to do it unless you're in the designated area. Better to follow the rules then work in the not allowed rules for the better of everyone involved now and in the future. All of us collectors guarantee there are better specimens in the not allowed areas but we don't go there. Same goes for private property. If you see something amazing leave it unless you have permission to take it
Hell yeah!!! Can't wait to check it out one day...
Just another cool rockhounding place I need to get to one of these days!
Enjoyed this video .its amazing how those pretty gems are made in the earth
Glad to see you made your way to Maine hope to see more videos about Maine
There’s so much up here, I could stay for weeks and weeks!
So fun to see you here in my beautiful state of Maine 😎💎💎💎❣️
It’s such a beautiful state, this is my first time here! Staying in Poland this week, really enjoying seeing the leaves change
A little workout ! My favorite amethyst! Great video as usual Bryan!
Love that " i wanna go home'!
I love yours videos and plan on digging here in the future! Keep up the awesome inspiration!!
Beautiful area, i used to own this areas' Staples and DHL Route. Rt 26 in general is excellent for finding crystals, gems and rocks.
Im in New Hampshire, definitely making this a trip!!
I live very close to here & never knew it was there! Going to check it out. :)
Sweeeet! ✨✨💎🙌
Hit up Auburn main for the red garnets and mica when your back in that area . It’s a free public spot
Oh wow, Sweet! Thanks for the advice!
Mount Appetite
@@SpeedohDark yes . I never found so many garnet in my life
nice finds! I did the open dig at Graves yesterday, some nice finds for me as well!
Oh sweet, I was hoping to make it down for that but still up in Maine! I hope you found some awesome stuff!
I can't thank you enough for your videos. Your awesome 💖
I can’t think you enough for watching! I truly appreciate the support! 💎✨🙌⚒💜💎
For non locals, Deer Hill digging site is a bit of a bummer hike but my babygirl did it just fine at age 4. If you continue past the site, there's a sweet bog and viewing blind to the right. Also, 10 minutes away is Lord Hill in Stoneham. 💜
Beautiful gems mate 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Maine is my home state I luv this mine lots of fun to be had there 😊
One of our favorite spots 💜✨
What a beautiful place to dig too.
The crystals are cool, but I gotta say, my favorite part of the video was probably Matrix. ❤️ If you made an entire video 100% dedicated to Matrix's cuteness, I would be SO happy. Haha
I have been thinking about coming out with a RUclips channel just for matrix, stay tuned
That last scepter wow.
Yeah that one was a pretty cool fine, really shocked me when I seen it in the sifter!
Killer scepters! Going to hopefully get a few myself next weekend in WA!
I’m going here tomorrow hopefully find some awesome pieces!!
Thank you for inspiring me to collect all sorts of crystal
You must have so much fun doing this, I'd love to do something like that myself. Love the video and little Matrix, give him a scratch on the head for me
It’s fine, busy but fun! Just gave Matrix a scratch!
Yummy that would be a good haul.of Honey Mushrooms
I wish I had your informative videos prior to my son and I visiting Maine several years ago. We went to Bar Harbor and Acadia Nat Park. Always wanting to hit a rock hound site in each state! Thanks for your videos!
wonderful intro! thanks for the video!
Thanks so much for watching! ✨🙏
Hi Patrick and waat good work
🌻🍁🎃 love the crystals so pretty 🍁🎃🌻
Hey! I love your videos I used to watch them recently I got back into it and honestly I love it! I hope I can do this some day.
Glad to have you back!
@@TheCrystalCollector I’m glad to be back too!
Thank you thank you thank you for this video !!! Didn’t know this was so close to me. Definitely going next weekend ☺️
Oh that’s awesome! I was thinking about actually going back next week in myself but then I found moat mountain in New Hampshire just about an hour away! I found lots of smoky quartz crystals there, so I think I’m gonna go back in a couple of days, hanging out in Poland Maine right now. Let me know if you go out, I might go again myself!
@@TheCrystalCollector thank you so much that’s even closer to me. It’s going to be a busy weekend for sure. Will definitely let you know how it goes.
I feel the need! The need to dig!
Greaat looking area. Never been to Maine. Looks like a fun dig. Good job and thanks a lot for sharing this video.😎⛏⛏🔥🔥
I LOVE THIS VIBEY INTRO🎶🎶🎶 WHAAAAAAAT?!😅😊
😊🙂😄🙏💜
I lived and mined in Maine for 14 years. I did go to Deer Hill once, but did not find much. In all, I visited 12 mines during my time in Maine. We spent most of our time at the Newry and Mount Mica Mines. We went to the Bennett Quary, the Harvard Quarry, and a bunch more that I can't remember. One funny thing that happened is that we had friends who lived in Georgetown which is where the pegmatite band that goes through Maine and into New Hampshire ends, and we visited there for a weekend. The next morning, I got up and went for a walk on the road, and I started finding black tourmalines, aquamarines and a bunch of other stuff. I thought "wow" these people built their house on a gold mine! As it turns out, there is a quarry right at the edge of the water, and we found out how to get there. We went the next weekend, but didn't find anything. I really wanted to walk on the private roads of the people who lived around there because there are probably a bunch of great minerals in their roads!
Oh that’s so cool, thank you for sharing that story! There is no telling how many houses are sitting on good stuff, seems like there’s pegmatites all over this area!
@@TheCrystalCollector Hi Bryan. Glad you liked the story. Another little bit of info about Maine is that within Oxford County, which is where most of the mines are, there are around 1,500 different minerals. So it was always fun to go to these mines because you would always find something interesting.
There are several abandoned feldspar quarries in Georgetown and one active one. Many driveways around there are surfaced with crushed stone from the tailings.
Wow! I've lived in Maine all my life and haven't known there's an amethyst mine! I'll have to check it out sometime with my brother and see if we can find some scepters. Amazing video!
We have multiple such mines. We have some of the largest deposits in the country.
@@manfrommaine that’s crazy! I knew about mt apatite, but never about deer hill. I guess I have to do some more research
Very nice! Never been there before. I've gone to the Harvard and Taminen and wasinen.
I was going to visit Harvard, but ran out of time. Next year!
@@TheCrystalCollector it's amazing! So much stuff there and the view is beautiful from the top! We got so much garnet and black tourmaline! Beautiful books of mica and some terminated quartz crystals. 1 small amethyst crystal. Well worth the hike!
Your dog is so cute ! Great video btw
Again,
NIIICE!
Hey cutie! That Matrix is the best.
Awesome 😍🤩😍🤩
At least you took your dog home at the end of the day
Wow.....nice hunting. I haven't been to Deer Hill in about 20 years. I have a bunch on nice scepters in my collection and my wife has a nice 4 carot ring and my granddaughter has a two carot ring from there.
Oh cool! Yeah I was surprised to find several pieces of amethyst, they are small but super gem! Thanks for sharing!
Ahhhh I’m such a big fan your awesome
Thanks so much for hanging out and watching the videos!
Very good job
Deer Hill is only about a one hour drive from my house. I've found some nice quartz deposits in my backyard.
That was a nice little scepter.
My friend once found a aquamarine pocket at the lower part of the first dig awesome place I go there a lot
oops meant the second dig
Thanks! Near where we used to live!
I live in Canada right next to Maine! Maybe when the covid restrictions let up, I can go! 😁😁
Matrix is chillin like he's George of the jungle
I had a shih tzu named George, this comment made me smile, he died in 2020
@@cecilyerker I lost my big guy the beginning of this year. Lots of love ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Good colour said Stonehunter

YOURE PUTTING IN WORK BRO
Wow man wish I went over and met ya! I live about 20 minutes from there in Waterford. If you stick around the area check out Moat Mountain in New Hampshire for insanely clear Smokey quarts. Keep it up love the vids
Yeah I went to moat last week, going back this week, super fun site!
I got one small chunk of amethyst there an 1 clear quartz point 😊
Oh wow sweet! Yeah they seem to be few and far between but such a fun location!
@9:18 Did anyone else see that little red tick walk down Bryans finger?
That's how you know you're gonna get good Crystals, when you have to fight bugs for them.
Seriously, make sure you check yourselves over, Little suckers are MEAN.
Didn't know it was a tick. Good you pointed that out.
Didn't know it was a tick. Good you pointed that out.
😂 FACTS!!! Dude they’re so ruthless in Missouri where I’m at! Check out my rockhounding for lace agate video
It's a red mite not a tick lol.
@@clarencedthewrench8790 thank you for the info. Glad it's not a tick.
Good bye Smokey the Bear, here comes Matrix.
I know you are probably looking for other types of feedback from this video, but your dog is so adorable!!!!
👍🏻. Good stuff.
Yu...great man!😙
Hell yeah!
I find myself so in to it I want to point and be like what's that lol
You got to do a video in New Hampshire find some cool crystals around here
I’m actually in New Hampshire right now, going to a Moat Mountain Trail!
Stow, Maine is a pretty area. You should head Down East to Machias, Maine. They have a beach called "Jasper Beach". I'm in Hancock County, so not as far Down East. Lots of quartz and pink granite in my area.
Oh wow, I just check that out! It’s about 200 miles from where I’m at now, if I have time I may have to go! Thank you so much for the information!
Wish i had known you were going there, you could have picked me up on the way.
Those look like honey mushrooms!!! Edible but only when there young!!!
Oh wow, I will have to look that up, I don’t know anything about wild mushrooms
I have a 10lb amethyst scepter crystal from site 1
Dude!!! I need to take less X-rays and do more rockhounding. This was nice 👍🏼 way better than where I’m at today! Thanks Bryan
I wish we can start taking x-rays of the ground, that’s something we need to invent
Actually I think they have one of those x-ray machines for the ground, that’s what we need to
That looks so fun and I like what you are doing? I would love to get into digging. You dig?
What camera do you use? Love the vids, man!!
Believe it or not I just use my phone with an app to edit. I just spend about eight hours editing each video, that’s the key
Matrix is so lucky.
I'm going there next week and I need to make a sifter. What size mesh shouild I use? 1/2", 3/8" or 1/4"?
Nice stuff.
Matrix is the best lol
Can you do a video finding dioptase (my favourite crystal)
my mother cooked me fish and rice and broccoli and this is me putting pepper all over everything 0:02 ive sneezed 17 times
You can hear buster breathing lol
Whats the bright yellow/amber looking crystal at around 13:35 at the bottom of the plate?
Quartz Crystals just has lots of oxide stains
on my sifter i made aluminum folding legs that work great rather than suspending it
Very cool
