This was really sweet! Nana was a good person for only loving Narumi and not wanting him to leave her because of her high class status, but still wanting to help him such as recommending him a job. Plus the official reunion scene and the bedroom scene was really wholesome and adorable with the two loving each other and confessing their love to one another.
Nana was not a good person and she didn't really love him. It stated in the story itself. She only loves him if and only if he makes the right decisions. Otherwise she was going to drop him again and marry her fiancee. So how is that a nice person and proof that she only loves him?

I had the same thoughts. She just damaged a good guy for just some play with her parents. I would rejected her by the end, because I would have troubles to fully trust her and her parents in the future. I can understand the part of hiding their status from others, but that doesn't give them right to play him and manipulate his life to that extend. He was pushed to work at her father's company and was tested for loyality and passed, cause off some luck and lack of guts to make quick decision. It would be nice to see sequel, where we would get to know parents and potencial fiancee to judge them by ourselves.

Some parts I didn't like, like how Nana lied about the promise to hang out after the party. He didn't know what her intentions were at that point, so he just as well could've told them both they were being way too pushy and to shove it. The test was annoying too since he didn't have enough information. You couldn't blame a guy for choosing the friendly and outgoing girl over a girl he never met that stares at him and lies to get closer.

I would have liked it more if Narumi didn't end up with her. He could have done better and actually go and find someone who truely loves him for who he is. Luckily Narumi attended the party 😊 Sad that Nana's parents forced her to reject him when he confessed to her in high school 😢 Nana's behaviour during the party was really strange but luckily he rejected that other (too pushy) girl and went with Nana 🤩 After hearing the backstory of her rejection back then (and seeing that she took great care of the plushy he gave her as a birthday present) and after her confession, Narumi let Nana know that he's still in love with her and eventually they became a sweet couple 😍 That he said that her parents were kind almost blew my mind ... the parents didn't give a sh*t about Nana's feelings, got her a fiancé (f*ckin' planned strategic marriage), forced her to reject Narumi without any explanation and made a bet with her about her future husband ... that's not kind at all, that's awful and were from begin to end 100% scumbag maneuvers (if they were worried so much about her daughter they could have prepaired a prenup if it comes to a marriage with Narumi, but NO they made all this bullsh*t behind the scenes) 😤🤬 Thank you for this partly enraging (regarding the backstory about Nana's parents) and partly sweet video 🥰
Can this really be considered Love? I had to watch it twice to confirm what was said. Everyone says that it was great that Nana proved that love was able to conquer all the tasks. But that wasn't true. She even stated that if he wasn't going to go the way she wanted, she will drop him just like that and marry her fiancee, THAT IS WHAT LOVE IS? I understand her not being with him for her family sake. I understand the trials Nana's parents put in him. But if it is true love, did he really have to go through the trial just to prove to her parents? If it was true love, why would she need to marry someone else if he didn't follow the script her parents laid out? Oh, don't forget, he was totally unaware of this script and trials that was used to determined his worth to Nana. All in all, I would move on to find someone who ACTUALLY loves me for who I am and not dump be if I can't follow an unknown script.

You are the shallow one her assuming her feelings based on what her parents tried to decide. The tests and trails wouldn't have been there at all if she didn't make a deal with them. She would have had to marry the other person no questions if she didn't fight as much as she did to get the parents to approve of the guy that is considered at the time to be low class. Some parts I didn't like, like how Nana lied about the promise to hang out after the party. He didn't know what her intentions were at that point, so he just as well could've told them both they were being way too pushy and to shove it. The test was annoying too since he didn't have enough information. You couldn't blame a guy for choosing the friendly and outgoing girl over a girl he never met that stares at him and lies to get closer.

Finally they ended up together. Love conquers all (?) Wonder how things will go between them as the story goes forward. Also Narumi should have put two and two when Nana(then still hiding her identity) stared at him as though she know him from somewhere.
I would have liked it more if Narumi didn't end up with her. He could have done better and actually go and find someone who truely loves him for who he is. As for Nana, she doesn't love him so that quote "loves conquers all" is false. She dropped him once already, even though it was told so by her parents to. Hmmm, guess she really loves him to drop him? She was also willing to drop him again and marry her fiancee if he even makes one wrong decision, guess that is how love works in your eyes. But sorry, I'll find a girl who will accept me for who I am and the choices I make, either right or wrong, not a girl who will only accept me if I follow along in her story.

Can this really be considered Love? I had to watch it twice to confirm what was said. Everyone says that it was great that Nana proved that love was able to conquer all the tasks. But that wasn't true. She even stated that if he wasn't going to go the way she wanted, she will drop him just like that and marry her fiancee, THAT IS WHAT LOVE IS? I understand her not being with him for her family sake. I understand the trials Nana's parents put in him. But if it is true love, did he really have to go through the trial just to prove to her parents? If it was true love, why would she need to marry someone else if he didn't follow the script her parents laid out? Oh, don't forget, he was totally unaware of this script and trials that was used to determined his worth to Nana. All in all, I would move on to find someone who ACTUALLY loves me for who I am and not dump be if I can't follow an unknown script.
The trials were not about love, but being a good person WORTHY of her. If he was not worthy in her parents eyes she would drop him and accept the person the parents picked out. You are going on about proving his love, that is not the case. It was her way to essentially make a deal to potentially get him back instead of just accepting that she can't be with him. You are implying she was testing him only to see if he actually loved her. Which is not what was going on.

It so she could get out of the arranged marriage. They agreed to it and thus instead of just being forced to marry someone she now had a way to prove (not to herself but parents) that he was the one. It required he fullfill certain criteria (most likely set up in advance) to prove love. Not to prove HER love, but to prove that he is a good person. She would give him up (in other words she would submit to her parents will) if he didn't pass. It had nothing to do with love, as she loved him, but proving worth as a man. You seem to think the tests are a proof of love and it was not. The spy was set up AS a walking red flag. Everything was to see how good of a person he was.

Let me put it this way. It was an arranged marriage, probably political, and she as the daughter had to do it. It is a common troupe. It is also something that still happens today, though rarely. Business and political marriages with no love happen. After all marriage to the government is just a contract between two people that shares assets, financial benefits, and burdens. Sex, children, and everything can be done without marriage at all and not only that in many places marriage can happen at any age (for instance two states in the US have no minimum age to marry). So you seem to want to think because this arrangement was done to give her a chance to be with him means she has no love, yet she tried hard to set it up to give the best opportunity to get back with him in spite of her parents wanting to arrange a marriage. You are the shallow one her assuming her feelings based on what her parents tried to decide. The tests and trails wouldn't have been there at all if she didn't make a deal with them. She would have had to marry the other person no questions if she didn't fight as much as she did to get the parents to approve of the guy that is considered at the time to be low class.
You say she is basing her love of him on the trials....no she had long loved him (had even said so) but had to reject because of her arranged marriage, then came up with the idea to set up those tests and made a deal with her parents.
