Finally someone whos excited and alive during a tutorial! Lol every one I've come across sounds like zombies, this was a nice change:) good job girlie!
Thank you SO MUCH for doing this! I was going to do resin geode art but got scared of the toxicity of resin so I’m looking for alternatives and found your video! Yay!
you will definitely want to stay tuned then! I found something to put on top of these geodes that I made with acrylic that looks just like resin. it will give the high shine and won't yellow
I can't find glass glitter any where locally. I only find glitter at Michaels. I can't find anything that's in videos except on Amazon but I would like to see the product in person if I can. I loved this I'm now going to watch more of you!
thanks for sharing. Your finished ones with resin look like the real thing....i've got an idea for a geode design and you just made it so simple for me to get moving lol!
SOOOO beautiful!!! What :pouring medium" do you prefer? Also, when you cover with Epoxy, what is your choice of Epoxy? There are SO MANY out there now!!
Beautiful! So, once the art is finished, you do a top coat of resin to seal it? If I’ve, never used resin before what do you suggest I use to seal the painting? Thank you!
That is an amazing way to do this with out resin! So beautiful and I can actually afford this. Thank you so so much for making this I’ve been searching for so long on a way to do it with paint. 💜💜
Carylbou Lou definitely don’t have to use resin but I will say that I finished this one with resin to give it that glass like shine. You can also finish it with a high shine mod podge. I’m also testing out some other alternatives so stay tuned!
This is so Rad! ❤️ 💕 it! What did you say, the first embellishment was in the center from Michael’s? Did you paint the sides white? Love to see how this looked after resin.
Do you know of any other blending techniques other than blowing? I’m doing a quite large piece and am really not trying to pass out from blowing the whole thing lol
I’ve been watching a ton of these videos! But even when they’re adding commentary for some reason I’m still like “?????” and they seem to be working a lot faster than they talk. This one explains perfectly to me how I could get started painting geodes! I think it’s because you moved slower as well as using a small canvas, making the explanation more intimate. Anyways, thank you so much💞💞💞
Abstract Boss fantastic! Unfortunately here in Ohio, we don't have AC Moore.... Just Michaels and Joanne fabrics. Thank you so much for your time and all the information.
So glad to see someone else gets paint all over their hands and arms. 😃. I am digging those glass beads! 😍❤️👍
Just found you and can not wait to watch more sending big hello from 🇨🇦👩🎨❣️👍
Wow awesome 👏 job!
Awesome technique ! Glad there is a resin pour alternative !

Le Magiche Tele Di Cristina hahaha it totally was better after edges were finished

Love this tutorial! So fun and easy!! TFS
that is so wonderful, thanks for sharing! What type of glue did you use for crystals in the center vs the glitter on the outer corners? Thanks

You legit woke my baby up. Thanks.....
Anastasia Jameyson the volume control is on the bottom of the video
Once it dries....can a clear glossy mod podge or finishing spray go on top?
Beautiful. Please tell what ratio of pouring medium you used and was your first white paint pour mixed or straight? Thanks!
Love this Geode beautiful

You are amazing thank you I wouldn’t have to resin this would I could I just spray gloss on top when it dries ❤️
you can totally do a spray gloss on top. I have found that the look of the resin is far shinier than the sprays

Beautiful!
Really beautiful. Do you recommend a particular type of glue?

Do u have a video showing how you finish a piece with resin?
Rachelle Starr I finished this with resin but you can use mod podge with high shine or also triple thick. That has an amazing high shine as well
Beautiful! Can that blowing technique be done with a resin painting geode?
I can't wait to see it, I might try myself though because my son and I are painting tonight. 🙂
i love your geode pieces they are so cool! i don't know if i like this one or the blue ones more!
Do you know of any other blending techniques other than blowing? I’m doing a quite large piece and am really not trying to pass out from blowing the whole thing lol
Nina Elliftawi try a blow dryer!
Where did you get that glass glitter?! It's so pretty! Loved you work!
Is that normal acrylic paint oder did you mix it with something else like water? (Sorry for my english i‘m from germany🙃)
In love with this
Amazing and beautiful
How long do you have to let it cure before adding resin or a gloss finish?
Abstract Boss awesome, thank you so much!
Abstract Boss I will for sure, and I'll let my gf know, she just started pour paintings and I was researching for her lol.

Im planning to do a 4 feet long geode on a stretched canvas.. please please suggest some ideas as to how to approach on a long work arra surface
OMG it is soooo pretty and you're sooo creative!!!
OMG U R awesome. Darn now I have to buy some more stuff to try this.
So I want to paint my guitar where it looks like a geode the outside/back parts looking like a rock and the face to look like an amethyst any tips?
Abstract Boss thanks!
How long does it take for that thick of a paint layer to dry ?
Can v put clear resin layer over this????
@@abstractboss how do you "clean" it? Like you would a normal acrylic pour? Do you put silicone in your paint??
Can you please post your materials on your videos? I'd love to be able to find all the glitter and beads.
Abstract Boss thank you! I heard everything but where you get the glitter glass... Was that at Micheals also? Thanks so much.
Abstract Boss fantastic! Unfortunately here in Ohio, we don't have AC Moore.... Just Michaels and Joanne fabrics. Thank you so much for your time and all the information.
