What a great video. Congratulations on getting 99 total fish. Never saw a video about the net fishing so that was really interesting to watch. Really enjoyed seeing the drone footage you had as well.
Breathtaking footage of Alaska. Great fishing trip, Thanks for letting us tag along. You are doing a great service to your followers. As we say in Newfoundland, Canada. Good on ya bud.
Another awesome video! I've learned more about Alaska watching your videos than any other channel that I had dropped in on! Just glad that I subscribed! To me you've proved that the advantage of flying in Alaska is that it opens up so many possibilities to enjoy what Alaska has to offer. As always, thanks for sharing! Looking forward to your next video! Rick From Virginia
Great show Issac; you're a busy boy there; looks like a great trip back except for the beginning cloud cover bit low. You shouldn't be wanting salmon for at least a little while but dam it is good eh?...take care
Thank you thank you Isaac I really enjoyed the plane flight. Tell your friend he’s got one super boat. And thanks ever so much for taking us along on your fishing trip. A question are you in the Canadian military?
@@isaaclandecker907 Thanks for answering me Isaac I appreciate that. I am a senior handicapped widower and my dream of living in Alaska of course now I will never come true. So I’m living my Alaska life through you I hope you don’t mind. Stay safe God bless you. 🇨🇦
This is a wonderful channel always dreamt of going to Alaska and I live through these videos , I really hope this channel gains millions of subscribers and and you profit immensely from it 👍
The FAA requires 40 hrs for a private pilot license. You could easily knock it out over the summer for around $5-10K. To get good at landing off airfield (beaches, ridges, gravel bars, glaciers, etc) you need around 200 hrs in that plane. I have about 800 hrs in my supercub and I’m still learning!
unreal how expensive sockeye salmon is... I guess the rich dictate the price on salmon... i just saw a 10lb king copper river salmon sells for $800 lol.... im moving to alaska
Am completely against this. subsistence, supposed to be catch enough to feed yourself. most catch all they can not what they need and even selling them. not the intention
If you believe that gill netting , or come to think of it any netting of fish species is Sustainable then you need your head read.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am pretty sure you know why fish have spawning grounds?? So fishing in there spawning grounds but surely be Non Sustainable..
We are over 100 miles from their spawning grounds so nothing to worry about there. Department of fish and game manages the run to ensure enough fish make it to the spawning grounds.
Thanks for letting me fly with you again today. Awesome trip. Would be nice to have one of those big Kings on the end of a fly line. Wow.
That would be cool!

The salmon off Copper River is really amazing! The fish have a huge run up the river so they have a really high fat/oil content.
Pure Awesomeness!
Man that's a nice rig you have there.

Silver lab!
Bro, jealous of all those omega 3s you are getting. I'm going broke paying for wild caught salmon over here!
Come back to the US then 😂
What kind of salmon are the ones you caught?
Sockeye and king
How do you become a pilot for a small personal aircraft like yours? Cost? time/education investment? Specifically for Alaska.

@isaaclandecker907 thanks for the reply and info!
How is this subsistence fishing?!
Yeah, you should try the commercial gill netter! It is set up to do it and makes picking fish a lot easier!
do u have any frozen fillets that i can buy from you...
I don’t! Unfortunately I legally can’t sell any. Check out my buddy’s company though for salmon aksalmonco.com

The Natives need to hunt more seal, they are way over populated along Washington and Oregon Coast lines.
