Please save Indian fisherman from Sri Lanka Army shooting. With all these Tech and equipment indian Navy should help our fisher men to do there work.. We exchanged Armed soldier crossing border from Pakistan why shoot unarmed fisher men if he mistakes by cross border in the Sea.. After all it is a Sea can we build wall? Don't know how many more Indian will be killed by our friendly country Sri Lanka. Guardians are you watching

This is a coastal gaurd (same like coastal police),for defending big ship Indian navy is there.coast gaurd ship purpose is only to gaurd coastal area from illegal commercial ships and boats

Indian coast gaurd has diverse role from fire fighting to maritime security. Search and rescue, they use their ranks as prefix like armed forces, not suffix and they dont use Mrs/Shri.

The reality is that women officers in armed forces is a wrong decision. Lady officers are known to be house breakers by lurring serving married officers who are staying away from family and kids. It's harsh but it's true. And coming from an armed forces background I have to say this with heavy heart. This is a very tough job and believe me any sort of outlet is considered. Emotions and professionalism at times are not kept separate owing to the rough conditions of the job.the sufferers are the wives of the officers sitting at home waiting for husband and raising kids.
