It's like BuzzFeed, but down under. We're a bit cooked, not afraid to get deep and sometimes we'll make you crack up. New videos every week!

plus the cadbury stocking from the aunt or uncle
And when you get it the chocolate is half melted
Omg so true
And deodorant I get between 2-10 things of deodorant each year 😂

WE like baths in the uk because sometimes you get so cold its the only thing that properly warms you up again.
PumpkinLyd yeah
I understand it but like I’m British and 18 years old and have had like 1 bath my entire life
@@RyanNicho1989 😯
That's not a bloody stubby, it's a stubby holder. A stubby is the bottle of beer you put in the thing.
I know right amateurs
"If I'm not covered in a thin layer of sweat, then it's not Christmas". That's SO relatable. From Brazil btw.
Kamila Almeida lol i’m from France and if I’m not cold and there’s not snow or snowflakes it’s not Christmas like I can’t relate Christmas to heat that’s so strange for us
it’s not Christmas unless the air con is broken, humidity is through the roof, and it’s around 40* degrees
more like 38-43 degrees mate
U mean 45 degrees
DiamondDog28 no
@@jackabm69 Where do you live holy crap we get up to almost 50 here
Poel victoria
someone tell the girl from england that us aussies still get presents in actual stockings.. the chocolate stocking is usually what like aunts or grandparents would give to kids
thought she was rude AF. I mean ... "this isn't Christmas" ... not exactly open minded
cool4cats
She’s not rude, she was just saying it because she isn’t used to the traditions in Australia. Which is fair enough they’re a world apart lmao
@@lilyvaughan228 so why was the other British person able to be so accepting of it and why were the Australians able to accept the British xmas??
Like I said, not very open minded or accepting
cool4cats
Fun fact, everyone is different. They both might be from the same place but they’re different. It’s not rude and she doesn’t have to be open minded because by the looks of things she’s not gonna be in Australia any time soon. Why should it matter if she doesn’t think that the things we do here are Christmasy?
@@lilyvaughan228 fun fact .... not everyone HAS to be open minded but closed minded people are generally the ones who don't make the world a better place.
On that note, have a great day! 😁😁
Am I the only one that felt like the British girl and the Aussie guy had really good chemistry??
Miki’s Missing Marbles YES!!
It's always interesting to see differences in cultures and countries.
When summer hits, only then do I start to feel christmassy
That’s so different to me haha
The whole of the southern hemisphere up to the equator is hot during Christmas.
Yes thank you. I tell my American friends that every day
the guys saying '25-35 degrees' at christmas.... try like 44
In England yesterday (where I live) it was -3 degrees Celsius... helppp meee
Got to 47 last week where I am 🥵
At 6pm
Can someone please tell me where this dude is getting 25 degree weather in Christmas? I got 43 degrees
In NZ you get 25 degrees Christmas weather 😁
Oi It's Me he’s from Melbourne so that’s probably why
Olivia Foxley it was HOT on Christmas in Melbourne idk what he was talking about
Matilda yea true honestly it was hot everywhere this year
Tasmania. It's snowed on Christmas Day.
Lmao I literally got that pool ring for Christmas and British blokes “sorry” after the Aussie saying we’re still part of the cwth got me dead😂
The Australian weather in Sydney is 40+
Who’s here after Christmas 😟
guys can you believe it nearly Christmas already????
Nope this month went so dammm quick
Hannah Wagner it is Christmas
Hayley Spoonce why are you on RUclips at Christmas
In the Netherlands, we kinda get the same as UK.
Reading "put the copper on", ashamed. Aussies are screaming 'Its Cuppa!"
English say cuppa as well lol
Where was the lynx Africa set
When I was watching this it was 48 degrees
It’s not Christmas if it’s not stinking hot
*Says its pretty cold*
*Aussie guy in Maroon Jumper* - whAT arE SleevES
i loved this !! i feel like a lot of these videos get pretty brutal but this was so sweet :))
erika lauridsen I agree, this was a treat ;)
They should have a Xmas swap with Americans.
Nah, it would be boring. They basically get the same things as British people do.
Peter, I'm from Melbourne too; Melbourne, Florida in the US. And our Christmases are very much like yours: hot and sunny, and spent at the beach.
😎🍹🌴⛱☀️
But since I was born in Pennsylvania, I miss having a cold, snowy Christmas.
Could rename this video to "Brits struggle to comprehend a summer Christmas"
Fake Christmas trees, either boiling hot outside the pool or cool in the pool
When the Australian guy said we have to get better and colder fridge all I thought was saying put it in the freezer for like 1 hour or so
"We're still part of the common wealth" ..."ah yes sorry about that" 🤣🤣
If your Xmas lunch doesn't include Prawns or Crayfish (Southern Rock Lobster) - then you just aren't trying
Not for us Brits
Brits have prawns
Jeez, wish I got nearly as much as that for chrissie
I laughed so much, the strongest similarity was the drinking😂😂
I hate Christmas pudding and I am Australian
Greetings from California 😊 what's a Christmas pudding ?
Fruit and dated
Same
Same, I just eat the custard.
Not a fan of Christmas pudding tbh...
Where I live in Australia it is 36 degrees every day and the bush fires came to my family farm where we live and the fireys came in the nick of time I was scary AF
it isn't a stubby... its a stubby holder...🤣
She said snow 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 yeah once in a blue moon love it ain’t snowed for tiiiiiiime
I live in australia but I would still pick Aussie christmas
I’m English and I think I would like to experience yours, but I still prefer mine. They didn’t really do it justice, Christmas here is nice and cosy and your with all your extended family around the fire. I love it so much ahha
I want a British box... I really want the socks, bailey's and the mug.
"our fridges aren cold enough" our country is a giant cold fridge??
funny how these brit’s didn’t know about the chocolate coins when we have it all around in britain.
Um dude aus is not 35 degrees at Christmas it's more like 45 in qld
I love the girl in the yellow sweater!
25+?? Oh honey, Christmas this year is 40 and it’s usually higher. We gonna have a barbecue, get drunk as fuck on champagne and beer, and go swimming until we can’t feel our feet. Also my mum has that beach ball! It’s from sunnylife and it’s super cute
I do the pajamas tradition too!
Charli Paine my mum does it at Easter cause it's hot as heck in Aussie (obviously lol) at Christmas so in Easter it's colder
This seems so foreign to me warm weather stocking stuffers I can’t even begin to imagine life goal spend Christmas in a country with warm weather stocking stuffers at least one time LOL
Me waiting for all the juicy comments ...
Woah wired part of the UK and I get almost none of these
Typical items
2/3 - Cadbury Chico boxes
1kg of fudge
Full set of clothes (plus extra jumper or two)
Beano annual
And other ites depending on circumstances
Still a teen btw so will probably change
I got that selection box on Christmas
Ate all the chocolate inside it in 1 day
I bought the same type of chocolate to my friend in secret santa
I am British and that’s soooo accurate
Nice the Australian Christmas presents are similar to here in NZ. We have a summer Christmas as well, but not as hot as Australia but still hotter than UK Christmas.
Well of course, NZ is basically a little brother to Australia. Wassup mate!
@@50phia Kia ora, from the land of the long white cloud Aotearoa or New Zealand 👍
11:22 r u kidding me oz sorry I’m Australian
GO ON TOM! NEWCASTLE RULES ⭐🎉👍
Are there any other Aussies who do all the British traditions despite the weather????
as a part English part Austrian this was such a weird mix for me
I’d always ask my parents to get the chocolate coins when we’re shopping 😁
2 days till Christmas! (I'm in Australia)
RIP AUSTRALIA stop the fire 🔥
English Cadbury is way better then Aussie Cadbury. Safeway sells the English Cadbury in the International aisle, for anyone that wants to compare.

Why was the British girl acting like that she was so stuck up it’s not all about you 🙄😬
At 2:28 it spelt ‘pyjamas wrong I’m pretty sure
Isn’t it pAjamas
Correct spelling is "pyjamas" …
pyjamas [pəˈdʒɑːməz]
NOUN
a loose-fitting jacket and trousers for sleeping in.
"a pair of pyjamas" · [more]
any clothing suitable for wearing in bed; nightclothes.
"a picture of a baby in one-piece pyjamas" · [more]
(pyjama)
a pair of loose trousers tied by a drawstring around the waist, worn by both sexes in some Asian countries.
"he was attired in an off-white kurta, white pyjama, and red waistcoat"
It’s spelt differently in different countries
Nothing feels like anything birthdays Christmas Easter whatever it's just another day
If your Australian like if you get lynx deodorant packs
British guys get them too, I always get them and then give them to my dad
Oz Christmas would b more similar to California not exactly the same but more similar than uk and oz
Ok I’m from England and lemme tell you the majority of shit you don’t even get
i didnt get anything for christmas
I got 8 selection boxes. I guess no one knows me😪
This was so boring btw, was hardly any enthusiasm at all
Australia Vs. UK or Australia Vs. Africa?

Is that a girl or a guy who talking 😂

"I don't get too nationalistic about my chocolates"
Aussie confirmed.
Ozzie Ozzie Ozzie ,Oy Oy Oy
Australia for the win
These are English people. Why generalise with “U.K.”
*British not UK
Also British appeals to more people and we all have similar traditions
I’ve never got cheese
Big white boomers, Snow white Boomers.
F buzz feed
I’m Aussie and I love our pressies. The UK has awesome presents as well. My fav pressie was the socks. They were cool 😎
i love the cosy british pressies
No! Not true. Aussie Cadbury's was "new and improved" back in the 90's. More sugar, more fat, more crud. The excuse was that making it softer, wouldn't hurt the elderly folks teeth.
Anyone else from Perth?
i love how they don’t put “The Commonwealth” in the subtitles
I'm Australian and we still eat a traditional roast dinner on Christmas day. We may have a BBQ in the evening but never with any seafood at all. And we don't do the beach at Christmas
Carrie Bizz nah gotta go to the beach on chrissy
Lol I just had a bbq for Xmas lunch and then went for a swim at the beach in the arvo
Meanwhile, yesterday I was at home with my family freezing my arse off sat next to a fire
we cook the turkey and ham ON the bbq.might just be my family tho
No way is Tom from Newcastle ! His accent is basically gone :((((((
You don’t go into the sea if you are not in June July or August or you could get frostbite especially in December and January
Legit floating in the pool on a lilo with a beer in hand while watching this😅
I'm from Newcastle aswell
It’s always 75 degrees or hotter in Florida
That's about 23 C not that warm at all
