Hi, can you point to a resource that provides information on useful delimiters for ChatGPT? Also, since I'm a Plus subscriber, are there specific prompt formats to be used when creating GPTs? Thanks!
Hi, with delimiters you really can use any of the ones I mentioned in the video to separate parts of your prompt as long as you are consistent. If you want a more detailed overview I recommend you look at this: ai.plainenglish.io/crafting-precision-a-deep-dive-into-prompt-engineering-delimiters-6fdc63b9a32d Also if you want to understand the use of delimiters as a developer and you're working at the system level, I really recommend you take this free course by deep learning (it's prompt engineering but for developers), it's a very short one and will give you a more in depth understanding: www.deeplearning.ai/short-courses/chatgpt-prompt-engineering-for-developers/ Hope this helps :)
@@AIandTechforEducation I'm not a developer, I use ChatGPT for a number of form-filling tasks. Thanks to your help I finally managed to get one of my GPTs to do its job properly (it kept ignoring one part of its instructions). Funny enough, I prompted it to delimit its own instructions, and that worked!
Thank you for the info
