I love mine. I think people got really upset that they missed their deadlines on productions but IMO if you expect kickstarts to work out perfect and on time you haven't spent enough time on the internet.
I'm amazed you were able to get in contact with the folks at Borough Furnace. For the past year and a half they have been ignoring their customer's emails (including several of my own) and have offered no meaningful update on the status of orders that were placed but not fulfilled - some running over a year late, if they are to come at all. Liz's acknowledgment of the delays caused by trouble they've had with their enameling process is like acknowledging the ocean as "damp". I'm sure they make great iron but I wouldn't know for sure, since they took hundreds of dollars from me but never delivered a product or emailed me back. The worst experience I've ever had with a business.

They were unprofessional in the extreme and did not operate in a trustworthy manner - several more emails were sent by me to Borough that went unanswered since my initial comment, and a handful of inaccurate/not followed-up-on updates were posted on their website. My dutch oven was eventually delivered, over a year later than the delivery date I purchased for. I would not do business with them again. The product is excellent, as the price would suggest, but not any better than any other high end producer of cast iron.
