I have similar issue but my one it is slightly worse as my silver lever pops up with the pressure and the coffee falls in the capsule tray. My machine is out of warranty of 2 months and Lavazza won’t fix it. They suggest to buy a new machine from them 😅 I assume the issue it has something to do with the mechanism that keeps the silver lever locked in down position. You could try holding the lever with your hand down as I do and see if the coffee comes out. It works for me even if it is not ideal but for now would do until I’ll buy a new machine.
Yes, mine broke down out of warranty too. I suspect it's a design flaw in the model. I've moved on to a bean to cup machine. But that requires constant cleaning. When this one breaks down I think I'll go for a separate grinder and an air press.
Hello!! Here's the Handyman from Italy! I left a comment above with a link to a video how I solved it! I link here as well ruclips.net/video/0YAOFWxax-c/видео.html In my channel you can find other videos on coffee machines and much more! @@PaulSinnett
I have the same issue and thought that descaling will fix it. Descaled 2 times with even more concentrated solution to water dose and didn't fix the issue. I guess I will have to keep holding the lever every time I try to make a coffee...
Sadly no. I made that video for the customer support team at Lavazza. They said it needed to be repaired, but my machine was out of warranty. I took a look inside, but the bit that was failing was sealed and not apparently maintainable. All I could do was take it for recycling. I've gone for a bean machine this time to avoid getting locked in to those coffee pods.
I had the same problem. I found that solution but wasn’t able to fix it for good. There is rubber pipe that brings the hot water under pressure to the capsule and it came out of the outlet. That why the hot water goes directly to the waste bin. I put it back a couple off time but it always got off the fitting again.
E' la pompa dell'acqua. Difetto cumune. Il problema che identica a quella originale è impossibile trovarla. Ce ne sono simili che vanno bene uguali. Costo 15/20 euro.
@@PaulSinnett i just bought an used one, has to arrive yet.. because one of my colleague has it and i like it. I fix things, and also i`ve moded 2 machines, and repaired about 5, my advice is to clean the pins that punch with a toothbrush. Or try another brand capsule, that lot of capsule might have the plastic too thick. If necessary want to finish that capsules try to make holes with something before inserto into machine. Also use a small mirror, like the dentist mirror + light to inspect the punch holes pins. Good luck
Worse machine ever before it was good quality now is bad I bought tiny eco temperature is to high and coffee is not very good tasting Better If I bought the jolie

We have this problem too. Have you found a solution?

It could just be the video, but it look like no you’re capsule lid was not all the way down, hope you find a solution

No fix. My solution was to dump the machine and get something else.

Close the top silver lid down all the way until it clicks - you haven't closed it properly
How, if that is impossible?
