What they should do is if depending on your timing in pinpoint, meter pitching etc that determines how much spin you put on the ball. Only a perfect timing should result in an absolute zero Knuckleball which results in the unpredictable break. Any deviation left or right should impart spin in that direction and that is the direction the ball should break.
