Hi, thanks for sharing. I'll be going to Olbia in a few weeks and was contemplating renting a car but it seems you didn't rent one. Do you recommend getting one or is it possible for me to survive 5 days there without? Thanks!
Hi! I’m leaving Olbia today, and this year I rented a car. It is definitely worth it to have more freedom and to reach beautiful places.
You will survive without, but best to have it.
One piece of advice: don’t rent it through B-rent. Our car broke down and we waited from 2 to 8 pm for assistance. The company left us alone in the middle of nowhere because they don’t take responsability for assistance, and they forced us to pay extra insurance upon arrival, because they insurance we had already paid wasn’t provided by them, but from the website. Maybe ask these questions before signing. Have fun!

Thank you! No the bus will go to Palau, and then you’ll have to take a ferry boat. La Maddalena is an island 😌

Hi, Im not sure there are. Flights and trains, for sure. :) I’m actually sardinian, and I go back every year to see my family, so no travel agencies sorry :)
When you get to Olbia is any car rentals that area ??? I m planning to head out to golf of Orosei. Is there buses go down there ?
Hi, yes, you can find many car rentals at the airport, as well as buses to Orosei from the airport. These are private buses, so you can probably call the airport info desk in advance as booking is necessary.

Ola Allis, eu nao tive carro, mas encontrei uma passagem em onibus privado desde o aeroporto em Olbia até Cala Gonone. La, o melhor seria ter carro pois nao tem trasporte publico adecuado (mas é uma cidade taaaaaaaao pequena!)

Hi, to be honest I really don’t know, but knowing Sardinia probably not :D cash only. But there are atm’s inside the airport

Hi! I love your video. Im having hard time figuring out the logistics to/from Olbia/beaches. Im planning to take a flight to Olbia. Are there clear/blue beaches near city of Olbia?. Or should we book a hotel im Olbia and take a bus to another town and from there go to the beaches?. We are staying a few days only and we dont want to spend too much time in bus. I would love your input!.
Hi, blue beaches are everywhere in Sardinia, including Olbia! And the best thing would be for you to rent a car, because with public transport you will spend a lot of time travelling, even to places that are 15 minutes by car. If you have a car, I’d say from Olbia you can get to some amazing spots in max 20 mins
