In Super Mario World 7-I Forget, there’s a falling ground tunnel that you need to NOT have Yoshi to get through, because at the very last instant, the ground is at a height that squishes Mario to death because of the raised height Yoshi provides. I’ve never seen that bit of SMW physics happen again until DGR Underscore Dave tried to hot dog dance his way through that 1-block-tall hole with Yoshi. Thanks for the opportunity to flex completely useless knowledge!
the slope issue at the beggining of the video has something to do with the tile the rom hacker used just after the slope tile, so mario does a small jump due to that, i don't remember the exact tile which causes this because i'm not talented as a rom hacker but it may explains why you were dying

There’s a glitch in the original game where if you feed baby Yoshi quickly enough, you can get 1 enemy to count as 2 eaten enemies and therefore baby Yoshi will grow up with less than 5 enemies eaten. I wonder if that cheese is available here.

I had an Oreo McFlurry once at a food court by the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum.
This is a fascinating hack with some really good ideas, but it definitely wouldn't have hurt to put a few more checkpoints in some of those levels!
