In case anyone's wondering why Candice said "Iris is studying criminal psychology" in 0:52, it might be the fact that this interview was done WAAAY early on. Iris West was originally written as an intern for the CCPD in one of the earlier scripts of the pilot instead of a journalist like in the comics. I think you could easily find an early version of the Flash's pilot script online too.

Maybe it was in an earlier script because in the first season it was stated multiple times iris wanted to be a cop like her dad so maybe at first they indeed told Candace that iris would pursue that career until ofc as we all know she ended up studying to be a reporter

Arrowverse did many bad things but man,they always nailed it with casting their main characters Grant is just perfect Barry (the show has had its ups and downs,mostly downs) but Grant is always amazing

I'm currently rewatching the Flash for the first time since it came out when I was in high school. I immediately remembered why it was one of my favorite shows back then. Fantastic cast and storytelling!
Grant is by far the best live action Flash. The only reason why the show lasted until 9 seasons despite the declining quality in writing and the bad actors they've brought in the recent seasons.
