This video was extremely helpful to me. I had basically the same issue with 2016 Honda Odyssey EXL. Getting that fuel sensor into exactly the right position to lock into place was difficult for me. I wasn't able to find other videos that really showed what was going on. Thanks!
Hi there, yes mine always opened manually, but I always had to hold the inside lock button up for 3 seconds to make sure I overrode the auto lock feature
