Breakout is the same thing as tt offline and clutch time. We have the same offline modes as usual. There's also domination. Honestly I don't know why anyone would play offline. If that's the case just play my GM. Would be more rewarding
What about the rewards you would get among the way after a certain number of wins? Most of the rewards from breakout are what you’d get from one wheel spin win previously. The Glen Rice reward for grinding last year was great also.

Exactly…. Content creators don’t realize how much influence they really have on the community/this game. This is why IT SUCKS that Ty is only creator who doesn’t rip packs. I GUARANTEE a significant amount of people would stop ripping packs if every creator came together and told people to boycott. But they won’t. People like HTB have the biggest following in 2k myteam, and he spends hundreds of dollars every week opening packs. When people see him doing that… that makes them do the same thing. That’s just reality…‘especially with kids. Kids like to copy people who they like 🤷🏾♂️
I feel the same way bro. I wake, have my coffees and watch these vids and JC2Ks and Mosballin and HTB when he decides to upload. After watching a few I look forward to playing then I get on and I go too challenges and there is just nothing new. Same thing dad in and day out, park conquerer. Showdown conquerer. Then when the new sets come out it’s a grind not for a full pack but for a random player in the set and mind you, I’ve never pulled anything higher than a ruby all year and that’s the truth. I started playing in 2k23 and apparently that was one of the worst years. For me it was unbelievably good. I loved it. I wish I was around in 2k19 and onwards. Because I heard that’s when it was the best so if 2k23 was good for me I just wonder how good it really was back then. It feels lazy like there are no donamic duos anymore. Well some but not like it used to be. There are no evolution cards which I love anymore. One every season. Then all star weekend started last year and with a click of the finger. Bang. The game turned dead. Content creators starting leaving. I stopped playing. I just couldn’t see the point. Like look at this year. What is the point in having the best team? Nothing. The rewards are shocking. The rewards are better on salary cap. The game is backwards. These guys could easily make this game fun again and actually make more money. Content creators will come back. I mean seriously how hard is it too give us a PD Chet for 100 TTO or park wins? That won’t kill there money. Like now there is a GO penny so for 100 wins you get a PD penny. Just an example. Also if you reach 100 wins in all offline modes and 50 wins in all online modes you get a GO Carmelo Anthony. Then they keep putting there packs out like they are and we the community are happy for something too grind and people will want the best cards too win there online games so people will open packs for the best cards. Also have more and better lifetime agendas or challenges similar to the trophy case in 2k23 but better. I don’t know the game feels so backwards it’s not funny. Online gameplay is laggy and inconsistent, everything is ridiculously priced, the community is toxic, and there's nothing to grind for. Plus there is no way for casual players to compete.

The reason 2k20-22 was so fun is because of the content creators that played the game and were so fun to watch. It was also fun because it wasn’t like a security system where if you do something that seems suspicious to then you get banned. I just wish this game was like it was back then ever since mid 2k23 to now has just been horrible. I don’t even look forward to anything in this game anymore.

After having played CFB for a week now and experienced the difference in odds from 2K to other sports games, it’s otherworldly. I have fun playing the different challenges, it doesn’t feel like a grind because they are so varied. There are several different online game modes that are genuinely fun and unique. Not sure how you go back to 2K after experiencing that. I’m not even a huge football fan.
The problem is they are reading the room and people continue to spend hundreds and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds on packs,so why would they stop, why would they change anything

The fact 2k Mycareer still does not properly use Pro Am. This is where us who want to sweat, should be able to go and sign up with a team, try out for a team or bring 8 dudes who will compete to playing in a weekly, seasonal 2k leagues. We need Leagues, we who love basketball love stats. But too sign up for a league, where can we. Not one Sports game does this.

Tbh, the main reason I quit MyTeam is because CP The Doc quit the game, I used to watch him from 2k21-2k24. But ever since then MyTeam hasnt been the same. Pandemic time was Myteam's prime, 2k20 and 2k21 was goated and even 2k22 Now all I do is play Fortnite and Rocket League

Nah, that’s not it. 1st of all, EVERYTHING that people complain about has been an issue with 2k for 8 years. Gambling, not rewarding enough, cash grab. All that has been in this game for years and years and still, almost everyone complaining kept buying the next NBA2k. Kept giving 2k money for unreasonable low odds packs etc. And the „community“ or „content creators“ were the reason that NBA2k was once great? Hell no, the community was always super toxic, abusing every glitch, grieving other players etc. The community of this game was never great. Man as a college athlete (I’m a thrower for track) in previous years. After doing what I had 2 do. I just to love load up 2k. Now, I just come in on fridays, I just sleep. Like I the only time I play 2k is to play against my friends in play now.. BUT THATS EVEN BAD. Like the contest system in this game doesn’t work. Then on the my career side, they tweak so many things that’s now, I have a 98 ovr popper just collecting dust and have over 460k VC to make another build. But guess what? I HAVE NO ONE 2 RUN WIT. Bc all of my boys they don’t touch 2k anymore. Like my team I USE TO LOVE GRIND IT AND PLAYING. But after 24 I just said. Nah I’m good. And made the transition to Park. Like I play College football RTG and CUT. AND I LITERALLY HAVE MORE FUN DOING THAT INSTEAD OF 2k. Like 2k will never hear our cries but at the end of the day. It’s a business so that’s why I can’t really hate on what they doing. But from a gaming side, I’m totally Hating. If anyone want to run park which I highly extremely doubt it just lmk😂. Between the lack of rewards, missing layups and the bs matchmaking off tier. i have been playing madden and it is much more enjoyable and rewarding for me.

I get that the game has declined for all the reasons mentioned in the video but has it occurred to you that maybe some of the feelings of “being burnt-out” or not having the feeling of not wanting to be in class b/c you wanted to be at home playing 2K is simply due to growing up? It’s natural to have nostalgia but even if the game hadn’t changed I guarantee you’d still be fatigued. This perspective is also coming from a comp player who framed his 2K experience around competing (and wining) a 250K USD annual event which no longer exists so I’d be salty too if I were in that position. But honestly, 2K is just feeding the beast, and the beast is gambling addiction. Only way to combat it is if people stopped playing the game en mass, and unless there is a competition I can’t see that happening.

MyTeam will forever be dead without a big tourney like 250. The big cash prize brings competition and excitement among content creators. Ty had a whole series “ Road to 250” just off that tournament. The game uses these streamers to help push their games in a very, VERY competitive market. MANY COMPANIES want us on their games, MANY. These Streamers are nothing but 1099 Extensions of these Game Companies. The greed and what is happening in Video Games, screams one thing: FEDERAL INTERVENTION. I suspect we have a far deeper issue than folks want to realize. Monopolies exist in video games with the two LARGEST entities in Entertainment: NBA and NFL. I suspect a backroom deal, to not develop games onto each other Game Developers. Also, it is gross, the 2k Company uses a SACRED CARD like Shaq, they know CHILDREN love that giant fella. The reason 2k20-22 was so fun is because of the content creators that played the game and were so fun to watch. It was also fun because it wasn’t like a security system where if you do something that seems suspicious to then you get banned. I just wish this game was like it was back then ever since mid 2k23 to now has just been horrible. I don’t even look forward to anything in this game anymore.

After having played CFB for a week now and experienced the difference in odds from 2K to other sports games, it’s otherworldly.
I have fun playing the different challenges, it doesn’t feel like a grind because they are so varied.
There are several different online game modes that are genuinely fun and unique.
Not sure how you go back to 2K after experiencing that.
I’m not even a huge football fan.
First time on Christmas break in many many years, I"ve found myself not even turning on 2k and going to play something else.
The problem is they are reading the room and people continue to spend hundreds and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds on packs,so why would they stop, why would they change anything

The fact 2k Mycareer still does not properly use Pro Am. This is where us who want to sweat, should be able to go and sign up with a team, try out for a team or bring 8 dudes who will compete to playing in a weekly, seasonal 2k leagues. We need Leagues, we who love basketball love stats. But too sign up for a league, where can we. Not one Sports game does this.

Tbh, the main reason I quit MyTeam is because CP The Doc quit the game, I used to watch him from 2k21-2k24. But ever since then MyTeam hasnt been the same. Pandemic time was Myteam's prime, 2k20 and 2k21 was goated and even 2k22

Nah, that’s not it. 1st of all, EVERYTHING that people complain about has been an issue with 2k for 8 years.
Gambling, not rewarding enough, cash grab. All that has been in this game for years and years and still, almost everyone complaining kept buying the next NBA2k. Kept giving 2k money for unreasonable low odds packs etc.
And the „community“ or „content creators“ were the reason that NBA2k was once great? Hell no, the community was always super toxic, abusing every glitch, grieving other players etc. The community of this game was never great. And the content creators were in 9/10 cases pack opening, clickbaiting, uncharismatic fools that yelled into a microphone for a 12 y old audience. Remember that clown shakenbake and when he acted like he had a girlfriend? Or that other dude who screamed all the time and played these „unscripted“ pranks on his gf?
I mean garbage content like this was popular for 2k youtube. All in all one can say, the company 2k, it’s terrible basketball videogame and their playerbase/content creators for that playerbase were always a match made in heaven.

Man as a college athlete (I’m a thrower for track) in previous years. After doing what I had 2 do. I just to love load up 2k. Now, I just come in on fridays, I just sleep. Like I the only time I play 2k is to play against my friends in play now.. BUT THATS EVEN BAD. Like the contest system in this game doesn’t work. Then on the my career side, they tweak so many things that’s now, I have a 98 ovr popper just collecting dust and have over 460k VC to make another build. But guess what? I HAVE NO ONE 2 RUN WIT. Bc all of my boys they don’t touch 2k anymore. Like my team I USE TO LOVE GRIND IT AND PLAYING. But after 24 I just said. Nah I’m good. And made the transition to Park. Like I play College football RTG and CUT. AND I LITERALLY HAVE MORE FUN DOING THAT INSTEAD OF 2k. Like 2k will never hear our cries but at the end of the day. It’s a business so that’s why I can’t really hate on what they doing. But from a gaming side, I’m totally Hating. If anyone want to run park which I highly extremely doubt it just lmk😂. I get that the game has declined for all the reasons mentioned in the video but has it occurred to you that maybe some of the feelings of “being burnt-out” or not having the feeling of not wanting to be in class b/c you wanted to be at home playing 2K is simply due to growing up? It’s natural to have nostalgia but even if the game hadn’t changed I guarantee you’d still be fatigued. This perspective is also coming from a comp player who framed his 2K experience around competing (and wining) a 250K USD annual event which no longer exists so I’d be salty too if I were in that position. But honestly, 2K is just feeding the beast, and the beast is gambling addiction. Only way to combat it is if people stopped playing the game en mass, and unless there is a competition I can’t see that happening.

I stopped playing 2k when 2k19 came out I didn’t pick it back up all the way until last year 2k24 season 7 I liked the game …this year it’s not as good but because I took a long break from the game I like how far the game came since I last played and I actually play every day it’s only game I really play I think people need to take breaks with any relationship otherwise you start to dislike it

MyTeam will forever be dead without a big tourney like 250. The big cash prize brings competition and excitement among content creators. Ty had a whole series “ Road to 250” just off that tournament. We don’t want to see our favorite content creators grind for a card they don’t want. Twitch was popping. Not saying the tournament is the fix, just that the mode can’t be fixed without it.
I feel like 2k need to stop the pack shit. People should be watching streamers or content creators because of their skills or gameplay, Not because of they spending thousands of money opening packs.
