You know for years I always wondered would that be a flash Gordon movie back in them days yes window internet do quick research on the library will close at 4:00 and then this movie came out and I thought to myself there's no way in the hell they could do the hawkman just right but boy was I wrong this movie lived up to the expectation that I was expecting on the hawkman race. Brian blessed said in an interview in the '90s that they had them rigged up in an aircraft hangar with the wings on and s*** and that's how they was able to film them flying around and s*** the studio then had the necessary space on the clearance but the aircraft hangers did. So that's how they got the hawkman flying secrets just right nowadays you can do it all on your f****** iPhone.
No Stunt doubles for these two in this scene. Which wasn't a stretch for the future Bond. Or Jones, who was cast more for his physical abilities than acting, which actually was perfect for this spin on B-Movie serials.
