This was so fun, felt like I was hanging out with sewing friends! I hope you guys make more content like this...now I'm off to grab some of that emerald linen!
Yeah! It's so fun to see what sewists with easy in-person access to all the CC patterns and fabrics choose to make. I'd have such a hard time choosing with all the beauty and options around me. I also favor the emerald linen for Amy's Jenna dress. I have some of the same blood orange linen to make a Periwinkle dress. I like the green print for the set because it's so springy and would mix with the lilac pants too. Thanks for sharing. I'm looking forward to seeing you model the garments when they're ready. 💓🧵🪡🪻🏵️🌟
I’m new here and y’all were so much fun to listen to. I felt kinda goofy sitting here with a big grin on my face. It really was like my sisters and I would do this. Looking forward to your next episode!
I cannot wait to see all these beautiful makes! It’s going to drop in temperature here this week and I really need to make my Jude jeans but I’ll be wearing track pants for much of the time to make way for sewing for my 9 year old daughter who has jumped two sizes since December and who desperately needs new clothes. I’m still working on my Henna shirt and dress and the Fran pyjamas I started last month, hoping I’d finish them before having my hip replacement surgery but didn’t. So a month later they are still waiting to be finished. I’ve got practically a whole wardrobe of things I want to make for the cooler months. And then I need to refresh my bra collection. Take a breath and step back and just focus on one thing at a time to avoid overwhelm.
I may be the only one who thinks this, but I think all of Amy's colors do go together, at least on my tv screen. The hunter green and stripes reads as neutral to me, so the bright color looks pretty good sitting on top, and the brighter green with the bright pink just looks like spring flowers. If you go by nature, almost every color goes well with green. And my vote for the dress is the striped shirting. Such a classic look for a shirt, and it would look fantastic as the dress. Of course, using both is also a great option. For Cassie's set, I'm kind of torn, but leaning towards the double gauze because I love gauze in the warmer months. Also hope we get to see the color block version from Justine, because that sounds so cute!
Love this video. I have all these patterns however as usual I have not sewn them yet. This feels like I am included in your makes chat. Please do more exactly like this. Use the green linen. Best fabric for hot summers.
How fun! Thanks for sharing. I love seeing the pattern + fabric pairings. Amy’s shirt is beautiful! (And yes to button down shirts for gardening! My idea of glamorous 😄) Is that in a Core fabric? I’d love to know which one!
@@closetcorepatterns Thank you!! I have the pattern (and the shirtmaking course!), but I've been on the fence about fabric. This looks perfect. Thanks again. Happy sewing! :)
You ladies absolutely MUST do a fashion show with your makes in a couple months! Loved this, such fun. More! More! ;o)
We will!

We'll make sure to share what they end up sewing!
Make it in green!! :+)

Thanks Tillie! Classic sewists hoarding patterns we haven't made :')

The shirt Amy is wearing is the Closet Core Jenna in Core Fabrics Oxford Cotton Shirting
