- Creating reflections is something many card crafters find problematic. Tracey Dutton of laviniastamps.com shows how it's done in this video tutorial.

Stunningly beautiful card. I'm mind blown with using the brayer to do the reflection, never would have thought of it.
I was expecting to see the acetate method, but this technique looks much better and easier to do. Now I'll have to give it a go, thank you for the tutorial 🙂💚🇦🇺

A very clever way of doing a reflection Tracey... I have used acetate that is just another way of doing it but yours works very well I must say... thank you for that... :)

Just ordered some lavinia stamps, need Versafine and the right paper if mine doesnt suit. Cant wait to have some fun with them. You make it look relatively easy so hope I still think that once I have a go!

New to stamping, card making. Love the effect you created, but I dont understand why put so much ink on brayer, then roll most of it off on scrap paper, blending?? why not just put a little on brayer. I like to try this, but I don't have that much inks.. Its a really pretty card, thanks for showing.

if you used mixing mat or glass mat and dabbed your pad on before brayering to do the background you wouldn’t need to keep taking off so much ink at the start also now wondering if I can use my jeli plate to do this but thanks lovely card

Зачем набирать так много краски на валик, если потом половину оставлять на вспомогательном листе бумаги, а на открытке только бледный отпечаток? Нельзя ли сразу равномерно набирать небольшое количество краски?

I agree! Brayer off on your gelli plate and make some more backgrounds while you are at it! It hurt to see those lovely colours being wasted!
Shame her stamps are not value for money... I just looked again at prices, a single silhouette is £7 - £7.80, and thats too much my darling!
