I got my husband a Zoleo because he has a log truck and he's always out of cell range. Plus for our canoe trips, etc. I know this is really belated by now, but Happy Anniversary to you both. 😊
I swear by my Zoleo. Had it for a couple of years. It's great for letting family know where I am when its just me and the dog out. It saved my butt last December when I got stuck on the road into 9 Mile Bridge. Contacted my wife, who contacted the state. Warden showed up an hour and a half later to give me a hand.

I have those rods, very soft... i switched to a noodle rod from pulaski, fat Nancys...small one
Might be a good idea to register your boat if you're going to use a motor on it and post a video of it.
