@@cfhwrestling9352 I was fishing with my brother and his friends one time and my brothers friend was tired of catching bluegill so one time, he unhooked it was joking around and then he randomly punted the fish halfway across the pond. About five minutes later he started feeling pain in his foot, he took his shoe off and his foot was covered in blood. Apparently, he kicked the fish directly onto all of the the spines.
More big fish terms: Hoss Donkey Chonk (or Chunk) Beast Dinosaur (big male trout with large kype) Monster What we say about small fish: "What a Dink!" "He might not look like much, but man was he's a fighter!" "This one's feisty!" "I really thought it was going to be bigger" (that's what she said!) "They might not be much to look at, but the little ones sure are fun!" "I'd love to catch a big'un, but it's hard beat a day on the water catching a bunch of little ones!" "What a scrapper!" "I should use this one as bait!" "Awww, he's just a wittle baby!" "That one's punching way out of his weight class!" "The way he slammed it, I thought for sure it was gonna be a Donkey!" Side note: why would you mistreat a poor socket wrench that way, you animal?! 😆
I was fishing the Salorville Spillway in Iowa, was there for about 4 hours, no bites. I said out loud "last cast", and just as I was about to reel it up the wall, My jig got hammered. 20lb flathead, might not seem like the biggest but it was my pb of the time. I now beleive the superstition.
as i fisherman, i dont use any of these terms. although, as i live near the tennessee river, i will go there and catch catfish, and i tend to call the massive ones monster catfish.
gets hooked up “BIG FISH! BIG FISH! GET THE NET!!” nets a lil dinker of a bass then goes on explaining “man that fish fought so hard. These fish in here are so aggressive i tell yah, believe me there are some big ones in here.” *next fish caught was smaller than the last with the same reaction*
When you hook up and you say “I’m on” or your friend thinks you hooked up and asks “On?”. And idk if it’s specifically a Southern California thing, especially fishing for yellowtail/tuna, when you just hook up, you’ll hear a lot of people yell “FRESH ONE”
Dude you just made fun at every member of the googan squad lol even though I love most them. Jon b = money/smoked it Lfg = football/tank Lunkers= chunk/pig/the juice Apbassin=toad/birdsnest(bc he gets a lot of them) And every single one of us anglers = last cast 😉 Very entertaining dude. Thanks for the video! I’m trying to think of what flair usually says but I can’t remember right now.
I have never heard any of these terms for big fish. Down south we either say "it's a wall hanger" or "get the net" both applying to fish still in the water. Big'n and nice one once it's caught.
I use the term " sauce or saucy". Also when I get hit and the fish doesn't take the lure, I used the term "cranked". Example: bro, I just got cranked! When the fish takes the lure and really inhales it. I use the term, " choked it ". When I get a big fish I just say, " BIG! "
We really layed into em today we had some good juju, caught very few dinks, landed two Trench pandas and three ditch donkeyos. We were lip rippin em with a flippin and dippin heavy 7footer on that green pumpkin bitzy ,bagged out early in the double digits
Hi Brendan, I'm a big fan of your channel and really enjoy the videos. I'm creating a fishing website for a school project and was wondering if it is okay to include your Why I Fish/Short Fishing Film video. I'll be sure to state that it's your video.Thank you.
Perhaps the silliest I've heard is "FISH ON" when a fish is hooked, said like everyone needs to know when we often don't really give a darn. We're trying to fish and we can see.
“That’s a football”
Random guy: *kicks bass*
@Waylon Biddy haha
Kickentheirbass😂

Yessss! Happy you used one of my submissions! "Last cast!"
I can absolutely see you as being super guilty of that one.
@@Lm701 For sure! :) haha
Ayyy still waiting for some creek trout fishing.
@@shayne4710 It's coming!
I'm guilty with the last cast 👍
Fishing With Bottles I feel like almost everyone is tho lol
Who isnt really 😂
You are not alone
Ain’t we all
I say that about twenty times and then I decide to move my spot.
"chunk" is definitely my fisherman's word of choice
Last cast is a fisherman's biggest lie LoL EDIT holy likes!
That's true
Like a womans ill be five minutes
You forgot the term chocolate milk
What does that mean?
T.H.E. Gamer the water is like/ looks like chocolate milk
The snake river looks like chocolate milk for the entire summer. I’ve become very close to that term.
R.I.P Jig
I love these "what fisherman say/do" videos hahahahahahaha so great!
Me and my brother say "We slayed the bass" if we did really good that day.
Hahahahaha Fish Hawk submitted the"last cast" one. Super fitting, I can definitely see him as one who does that.
LAST CAST is the worst when the person is throwin a worm & bobber!
Last cast is spot on!
I use the words “slaunch” “hog” or “toad” for big bass 5 to 10lb... I say “dink” or “largie” for 1 to 3lb Bass...
Dang wish I thought 3 pounders were dinks

😂 One of the most entertaining fishing videos I have seen in a long time! So much truth hear!
You nailed every single nickname for a big bass oh my goodness
3:50 LOL 😂😂😂😂😂
Words cannot describe how funny this video is. I could not stop laughing. Keep it coming!
Last cast is worldwide! We use to make fun of this in Russia too. Greetings Brandon. Great channel. Me and my little nephew are your truly fans!
Calling a long cast a, “Boston bomber”

For a sec I actually thought he squished the life out of a REAL toad😂
I’m guilty of at least half of these 😂😂. Mainly the last cast is my biggest culprit.
I see a lot of people saying "he inhaled my bait!" or "he swallowed my bait!" when a fish literally inhales or swallows their bait
PART 2 PLZ
*throws fish back* “back in tha drank yah go lil guy”
Whenever a fish hits my bait I say “bro that monster smashed my bait like a freight train
My friend hooked into a big 6lb bass and goes “ooh that’s a body right there”
Last cast 🤣
Guilty
good work. I enjoy watching your videos
“He hammered that jig” that’s me
Hey Brendan! Can you possibly do some ice fishing this winter? Thanks and great video!
:P
When you hook up and you say “I’m on” or your friend thinks you hooked up and asks “On?”. And idk if it’s specifically a Southern California thing, especially fishing for yellowtail/tuna, when you just hook up, you’ll hear a lot of people yell “FRESH ONE”
Awesome vid Brendan! Keep up the amazing work👍
Finally a sequel!
"Donkey" cracks me up. 😂
the jig part 😂 😆

I’m trying to think of what flair usually says but I can’t remember right now.
Lfg also says "MONDO"
Flair says Nebraska dink and flair fish
I couldn't stop laughing! Keep making vids like these Brendan :D
Love your channel , even tho this was posted months ago . Still love it haha
Been fishing for 20 years and i have only ever heard the googan squad say 80% of these lmao
I said “ Flip it up in dem reeds “ like one time and now all my fishing buddy’s quote me on it all the time. It is also my catch phrase.!
So true 🤣😃😃😂😂😃😃😃🤣🤣🎣🎣🎣🤣🤣😃😂😂😂😂🤣🤣😂😂😂🤣🤣😃🎣🎣🎣🎣
bird nest on a spinner when you forget to tighten the drag

Really nice! Made my sides hurt I laughed so hard. You make the best parodies and fun videos
I'm very thankful I've never referred to anything fishing related with the word "juice" LMAO
Lol! Good stuff Brendan!
A ton of fun . how much does it weigh?
Nice joke😅
Love the videos keep it up
aw man, this spot looks like *the juice*
Down here we call a good fishing spot a Honey Hole and you try your best to keep that fishing spot a secret.
Well now you can't say "No Jigs were hurt in the making of this video"
I use the term "THIS IS THE JUICE "🤣
He hit it like a pound of bricks 🧱
And this spot looks spot on that's what I say
Yup!! I’m with the last cast people, but I slay slauncher when I catch a big fish
MILLERNAYYYYSHAWWWWWWNN!!
As you where going threw them I was like yep I’ve said that 😂
That "juice spot" has been anything but for me. I did catch a "tank" way to the left not far from the reeds.
Fly fisherman also have many of their own sayings including "good eat" or "good take".
Money bruh haha. On point lingo for sure!
At 3:43 some of the leaves changed position. Juice can walk now guys!
Its B-Miller in the houseeeeee! I'd fish with ya if ur were closer to Missouri
You forgot “I got skunked” and “I’m going to my honey hole”
Funny vid,came out fast👍💯💯
We really layed into em today we had some good juju, caught very few dinks, landed two Trench pandas and three ditch donkeyos. We were lip rippin em with a flippin and dippin heavy 7footer on that green pumpkin bitzy ,bagged out early in the double digits
The thing is this is universal between countries and continents
My friend mason always says bass candy every time he gets a good cast in a perfect spot

I say “that’s a fucking HOG!”
Stonka is a common term here in Australia for a big fish
4:53 theres a cat
Perhaps the silliest I've heard is "FISH ON" when a fish is hooked, said like everyone needs to know when we often don't really give a darn. We're trying to fish and we can see.
Last cast is me every other day.
You forgot about the phrase “skunking” lol biggest one yet.
You should of put a picture of oj Simpson for the juice lol 😂
Wow...I guess we have kind of developed our own language. lol
Don’t forget “swamp donkey”
I’ll be by myself and say last cast for 40 min 😂😂😂
_Incredible fishing for angler congratulations._ 👍🎣🐠🐟
_Similar to fishing here in Brazil._
*HUG!*
Dude, it’s not a toad, it’s a slaunch donkey, ditch panda, or mondo. Come on😆😂
The last cast is totally me
You forgot when a spot looks super good we call it the Honey hole
When i make a cast when its a good spot i say "that winner chicken dinner right there "
When ever there is a bunch of weeds and goop I call it CHEESE.
Amazing camera work good job.
This video had me laughing
Love the video bro! I see this happen all the time when I fish!😂
Imagine being pulled out off the water and a teenager calling you fat many times
3:42 😂 😂
I love the last cast
The problem with "last cast" is if you do catch one you get hyped up and have to stay for a little longer
How Many Baitcasters and Spinning combos do you have for bass.
U should do another fishing challenge with ur brothers
This rod casts a country mile , that’s one I use
