This is the first time I've ever heard of the series Trying Times, and I grew up in Canada in the 80's too and watched a fair share of TV back then. Candice Bergan and Bruno Gerussi are very familiar faces though, because of the Murphy Brown show and The Beachcombers shows. Had no idea Keanu Reeves had worked with them. But they seemed to be a good cast together. And of course Keanu Reeves was very handsome and amiable. I was 13 when this aired lol
