    I think you are a delightful person to watch and a very good cook! I’ll be making these tonight but we like bell pepper and pineapple in our sauce too so I’ll be adding those to your recipe. Thank you, I really enjoyed your tutorial. 👍💖

    Always order this at our Chinese restaurant, and the sauce is always on the side so I can dip the freshly fried morsel of meat in. Yum!

      No to think of it yeah if order family style they can separate the sauce. But if order over rice they don’t do it. I think it’s a cost cutting measure.

    Did you ever think of using scissor tongs for frying? For frying meats like chicken and pork chop I think the scissor tongs would work better for flipping and grabbing the meat. This style tong can't fly open from the spring by accident.

    Off topic: Wally, critical question. Yankees or Mets? Me, born and raised in The Bronx so you know my childhood preference. You're from Queens, I'm guessing those guys that played in Shea (now Citifield).
    PS- Joe's Shanghi has/had the best Xiao Long Bao in US!

      Hey Jimbort, hope all is well with you. Actually I'm from lower east side Manhattan. I lived on border of Queens and LI for short while though. I followed the Yankees but ever since I moved here and things got busy I couldn't keep up. Last I went to Citi Fields was just 2 years ago as I normally visit NYC once a year. Yeah Joe's got some good XLB I remember the lines out the door long waits 😂. So I typically head to the smaller Shanghai restaurants nearby cause too hungry 😆

    This doesn't remind me of peking pork chops I order. Sweet and sour for sure but the peking style pork chop sauce, no.

      There are a few ways to make this, I've had it with a darker sauce, but I prefer it this way, more saucy 😀

    Is this the same as "Peking pork chops"? ...I noticed it's very popular when I was in NYC and friends there loved it. But, it's not common at all in Cali. I must make!

    • @WallyCooksEverything

    • @Patrick-ig4nd
      @Patrick-ig4nd 2 года назад +2

      @@WallyCooksEverything Prolonged fasting is not as difficult as most people think amigo. But you are right - it does take willpower. I quit smoking a long time ago so I could see my Son grow up and this I guess is just an extension of that in a way. Funnily enough watching videos such as yours - with mouth-watering dishes - only helps to keep me on track and for that I thank you. I am subscribed now so please keep making your brilliant videos.
