  • I poured out some bags of APPLE CRUSH, ACORN RAGE, and SUGAR BEET CRUSH to see which one the deer liked better. All of them attracted deer. APPLE CRUSH AND ACORN RAGE were almost a tie, but ACORN RAGE was the winner! 1. ACORN RAGE 2. APPLE CRUSH 3. SUGAR BEET CRUSH

I also spread mine out so other deer can feed. I feel if you over crowd feed they will leave

Thanks for putting this together! I’m in NE GA & I’ve been using persimmon but I’ll probably switch to acorn. I wonder what place it would’ve came in at. Might do it myself but @ $10 a bag that’s a $40 experiment!

Yw! Yea it can be expensive! I got these on sale for 7$ a bag and I thought it would make a great video. I normally don’t buy these because they are about 10$ a bag. I can get 100lbs of corn for 11$. If I do get some acorn rage, I pour it over a pile of corn. I used some persimmon crush a few years ago and I think they ate it ,but didn’t seem like they really liked it. I have had good luck using apple crush and acorn rage. From what I’ve learned it depends on the area u hunt. One year they wouldn’t eat rice bran in one place, but 40miles down the road at my deer lease the deer destroyed the rice bran. So it’s all about trying different feed for deer in your area.

I love these vids, Bro, but i have to ask:
If all 3 are in the same spot, how do you know which one is attracting the deer?

Yea. You’re right. after watching it again the does hammered the acorn rage, but the bucks tore up the apple crush! It’s like they were waiting in line for the apple crush.

@@matthewmaxcy1574 glad I could help! To make it last longer my friend puts out corn and then sprinkles the apple crush all over it and has had great success with that to. Good luck to ya this deer season! Get some meat in the freezer and get a good buck!

Quit baiting and learn how to hunt.

Baiting is key when you have a tiny piece of land with no reason for deer to pass through.

@@zachstuckeyoutdoors5786 Yup, if it's legal to hunt over bait then do it, a no brainer. Love your "comparison videos" by the way, keep up the great work!

@@HomesteadOnThePreserve thanks! I appreciate it! I’ve gotten so many comments about hunting over bait. 😂. Why would I not hunt over bait when everyone surrounding me has 200pounds of corn out at time.
