As someone else mentioned, bar 1 game we’ve not been 4-4-2 all season lads. Rest of it is fairly spot on. The “trigger” to press is when teams reach the halfway line, to answer your question.
Only other thing I’d argue is our set piece delivery has definitely not been good this season as you suggest. It’s been shocking. Any Millwall fan would confirm that.
The equaliser against Sunderland was one of the best goals you could wish to see. 5 pinpoint passes from our own goal line to their net. People who don't watch us think it might be boring, it's not. We keep our shape moving around the pitch not just parking the bus. Yes there are things to improve but it's not boring, and there's a transfer window coming.
Check out the xg table - how come for a defensive side were in top 6 for xg?
Milwall haven't lined up 4-4-2 at all this season, Watmore has played as wide forward, Honeyman has been the No 10
We did at Stoke, but that was the only game.
Imagine if Honeyman actually got some goals 😂
I up front first half, 442 second half 🦁💁🏻♂️
If we dont have the ball we have more of a chance of winning imo
It’s interesting lads but l don’t think you give our attacking trigger and transition play enough credit. We create a lot of chances compared to other teams and very high up the scoring position charts. Esse is the second highest most fouled player behind Gnoto. It’s a system firmed to beat the championship tike taka’s it’s when we play another low block team we get problems usually against bottom clubs. Our transition play gives us the opportunities for set ball goals. You have to attack to get the free kicks. Too simplistic to say we are just an ultra low block side.
Time will tell
top draw boys
Rowett's football was boring Edwards had no structure Harris has been great and the squad is getting stronger thanks to players coming back from injury
The manager has had a huge amount of luck. Sadly it won’t last.
Ridiculous comment.
You absolute Si 🤣 since Harris came back in February, only Leeds have won more points , we have won 49 points, Leeds 50 ! Luck ?? Where ? No luck in getting the second highest points total since February! Your football knowledge is that of a child
