Opposites United | The New Kia Design Philosophy | Kia

Introducing Opposites United, Kia's new design philosophy which redefines our vision for the design of all future Kia models. Our new philosophy uses 5 new Kia design qualities to bring forth synergy from opposites. These include:
- 1. Bold for Nature. As part of Kia's ongoing commitment to sustainability, 'Bold for Nature' focuses on embracing nature and giving it a voice. Organic and technical structures will both be utilised in the future designs of Kia vehicles to create a statement for the future.
- 2. Joy for Reason. This design pillar involves fusing the emotional with the rational. Kia's future vehicles will aim to influence and play to the emotions of drivers and passengers; this will involve the use of more daring colours and new organic materials.
- 3. Power to Progress. This design pillar aims to build on Kia's existing prowess in design-led transformation. Our future models will evolve by using both experience and creativity to create innovative new designs.
- 4. Technology for Life. Embracing new technologies to enhance the relationship between drivers and their vehicles underpins what Technology for Life is about. Future Kia vehicles will incorporate transformative new technologies to better improve the in-car experience and help drivers engage with their cars.
- 5. Tension for Serenity. This design pillar is about recognising the design equilibrium that exists between two opposing forces. It aims to deliver striking design concepts to help us realise our design vision.
