@@syklerbarbin7901 it wasnt ahead of its time, its straight up changed the gaming landcape into what we know today. If it wasnt for sunset overdrive, theres a good chance we wouldnt have had as many colorful games as we do today. We just need another game like it to remind us why these types of games rock

Sunset Overdrive is such a criminally underrated rated game it hurts I went into that game completely blind and it without a doubt was one of the funniest, craziest, all around hell of a good time games I’ve ever played and this song fits so well with the game it’s simply perfect and it’s just such a shame we’ll probably never see a sequel since it’s been maybe 5 or 6 years

7 years later and I now understand what kind of weapon to use alongside such a song. At first I thought shotgun, then maybe an auto-rifle, but they didn't quite get the vibe right on their own. The answer to what kind of weapon? ALL OF THEM. THE WHOLE ARSENAL SIMULTANEOUSLY AS YOU GRIND AROUND AS AN INCARNATION OF DEATH.
i felt like a bat and shotgun were a good combo........ but i guess the right choice is "hold my beer"

This is honestly one of my favorite games, I love the mission with excalimune, I hope they make a second. This rap fits in with it so much

Great thing about sunset overdrive was that it fully embraced it was just a crazy over the top shooter - it didn't try and throw in any serious elements or anything. It was simply an over-the-top, crazy shooter that didn't need to really make sense. It was just fun.

Been in a depression for a while and games weren't that fun anymore for me , just a checklist, but I replayed sunset overdrive and I've had the most fun I have in awhile , like a breath of fresh air, still hurts we won't get a sequel

In my opinion, this game is underrated. It has so much to do, great story, and hilarious lines. Not to mention an expansive and fun multiplayer experience that won't make you feel "pridE and Accomplishment," but a good feeling, mainly of (real) pride and accompliahment. Needless to say, I love this game, and that's why I'm writing this comment. Also good video.
