Yeah, People getting shot and killed every day, Economy in the gutters, funding over seas wars, Children's getting messed up by the school system, mental health system, and media, we are being over run by people who are trying to replace us, homeless population going up, middle class no longer existing, every body pretending nothing is wrong.

Greetings from Owen Sound! I live here and enjoy so many things this small city has to offer. I hope that people with come and visit and be sure to visit the famous TOM THOMSON GALLERY - one of Canada's premier galleries named after Group of Seven Artist Tom THOMSON. A must see! Also the BILLY BISHOP MUSEUM and it should be noted that we have world-class fishing here in our waters. Freshwater Salmon as well as several varieties of Trout and Whitefish. Many top festivals such as music festival SUMMERFOLK, the RIBFEST and the SALMON SPECTACULAR. At CHristmas time from mid-November through to February we have the FESTIVAL of NORTHERN LIGHTS. Spectacular and worth the trip to see the display. The BRUCE TRAIL runs right through our city and is part of the Escarpment running from Niagara Falls right up the Bruce Peninsula to TOBERMORY. :-) Thanks for sharing this video. Am sharing with friends and family in UK, New Zealand and Australia! :-)
Thank you very much for new information. This was our first time, so we'll look into visiting places you have mentioned next time. Definitely want to visit during Christmas visit to see Festival of Northern Lights - we did hear about it and wanted to go last year.

This little city is unlike any other in Canada. I've moved 15+ times in my life and ended up here in Owen Sound. I wish I could go somewhere else instead but I can't. This place is very special me. I know every little nook and cranny of this little city that it's truly my home and I'm from Vancouver BC.

I lived in Owen Sound for 3 years back when I was a young man and I’ve moved around a lot over the years but my fondest memories are of the time spent living in Owen Sound. I almost moved back 5 years ago but maybe the next time I move I will call Owen Sound home again. I hope the fishing is still as good as I remember.

Absolutely beautiful town, drugs are starting to get bad unfortunately. Half of the city is built over an aboriginal reservation, put a golf course where the village and burial sites were. Some incredible parks and amazing hiking.
But what about non aboriginal burial sites, what benefits do I get? It was not this current Government that committed geniside against them.

I grew up in Owen Sound in the 60's and 70's. We moved to Calgary in 1978. More like an escape. Its a great town, my mom said its a great town to raise kids. I heard they moved the Chip Wagon from behind the Market Place. always a great place to grab a great snack. Of course for some reason the Chip Wagon got the boot from its spot after decades in the same place. Of course when I wrote Silly Hall and of course I got NO RESPONSE! Typical!

Great tour .. haven’t been back home for many years.. I grew up there.. went to ryerson public school .. strathcona for gr 7/8. Then to oscvi when it was on the bottom of 10th street east hill ..

1:18 MacKay's Dry Goods billboard has been there for over 100 years... I do wonder who originally pained it. I miss that old store.. the wooden creaky floor boards, the scent of old time-y sawdust... and their cash system. A cash system that used to be a normal thing but we would NEVER see now, which is terrible. So much cleverness gone.
