@@GizziesGirl2 Full voiced? 2 octaves and a little over a third. Counting his falsetto, which could be controversial as by some it’s seen as “false voice” he would have 2.5 octaves. He’s a Lyric Baritone.

I get the impression he's a very empathetic person who deeply feels emotions - and he's very giving & loving to his near ones. And to balance that out he brings out that grumpy-show act.

@@angelicaf9535 I'm not sure about stand alone performances.. I see a bunch with long time frames.. like an hour of Jensen singing.. or 40 minutes.. those usually include the earlier ones. I think he started singing at the cons around 2014 if that helps

he isn't trained.... it's all natural.

No - training is not about how high you can reach, it's about how you do it. How cleanly and reliably you can hit those notes and whether you can sustain them. Jensen has a great natural voice, but his range is not unusual. It takes some effort for him to reach the high notes, and he can miss. Some training would make it easier for him to sing (he'd put less strain on his vocal chords and sustain using his core). But his voice is wonderfully smooth and warm, or he can rock out, and I love listening to him.
Lol.. um my brother can do that. And he is not trained. And I can to. I’m mezzo soprano. So I can go Soprano or Alto. It lets me go lower then Tenor’s.

He has a ridiculous good voice... he has a ridiculous goooood voice. He has to be some sort of Tenor to have such ease with those Tenor notes. He must’ve had had training because there’s just no way.

No real training... he always just kind of sang.... The first thing he did was beat out his High School's best singer to play Tony in West Side Story without being in chorus...and then after that didn't really sing in public much until Conventions came along and his friends encouraged him too. He would just sit around with a guitar and jam out with friends now he has transformed into a rock star.
Crystal Spencer He's definitely still able to. Most of the clips are from the last few years, long after he started using that deep Dean voice.
Once he mentioned at a con, that when he was in school he used to sing regularly in charch.
He's a baritone but can hut tenor notes.

Um, Jensen do you mind dialing back on the Angel voice? You know that we humans can't take the magnitude and awesomeness of your vocals.
You can see he loves the company of singers and musicians, they bring out the best in him and give him the confidence to let go and sing.

First off somebody with a natural ability to sing could hit those high notes as well as the low without classifying him as a tenor. But obviously because he's recording his own album you can see the progression of not just his confidence but his range and his chest voice and how he pulls it out. how wide he leaves his mouth open when he sings certain notes and how he clenches on others That's from working on this new project he's been working on He's been doing it for some time and you actually can see the progression in his vocals as he gets older. A lot of people lose their vocals unless they're really looking to work on them as they age.

@Crystal Spencer I would say just because he can hit it doesn’t mean that he’s a Tenor. Some of his higher notes sound strained, forced, and his voice becomes coarse as it ascends to B4 territory. He sounds better and can phrase in the 3rd and 4th octave territory. When he encounters the 5th octave everything is basically a yell.
Overall the voice loses its luster, weight and character as it ascends, which would be atypical for a tenor. Some of his notes also lost sound and audibility as he got higher. He sounds better in the G4 territory. His falsetto is also super light/undefined. I would say Baritone. Tenors find their “ring” in the 4th and 5th octaves and in their falsettos. Jensen sounds better and more comfortable mid-voiced.
