    Certainly shocking that it only lasted 3 years. And one of the best looking cars of the 10's era.

    Other than the gas mileage, it seems like this thing must be beating the competition in almost every way, unless it is unreliable. As for the gas mileage, it really isn't all that different than the class leaders, and if it is as wonderful to drive as is being expressed in this video, it's probably worth it. It sure is gorgeous though. It looks a class above to me.

      2.4L I4 Gets 36HWY according to the EPA thats 1mpg better than Chryslers own estimates

      The price tops out at about 40k, don't let this fool you the price reflects the car on features. Usually midsize sedans top out at about 34k.

    • @TomazHilton
      @TomazHilton 10 лет назад +1

      No it tops out at 38,900, a fusion tops out at alil over 40

      The only problem of the car is that at the end of the day it's a Chrysler, they are very unreliable cars, cheaply made and just a lot of trouble. Every new car is good, but if your planning to put 100,000+ miles on it then this is not the car to buy

    Great review. I am a honda owner who is impressed with the styling, tech, and safety that this new 2015 200 offers. Honda makes so great cars but they are not perfect. I have had several annoying issues that required warranty repairs with my 13 Accord CVT EXL...

    • @LlyleHunter
      @LlyleHunter 10 лет назад

      I had a 2002 Accord that burned out 3 transmissions in 5 years. It was the only car that I've ever needed to replace a transmission in. I'm on my second Dodge since then and haven't even needed to replace as much as a light bulb in either one.

    • @crazypete8888
      @crazypete8888 9 лет назад +1

      I had tons of issues with my 2008 Accord including burning oil under 40,000 miles. "Honda quality" is just nostalgia these days. Not what they were in the 90s...

    • @LlyleHunter
      @LlyleHunter 9 лет назад

      crazypete8888 I agree. I was doing the books in the repair shop this weekend and there were four Honda products on lifts. All four needed transmissions. As I've said before I won't even buy their lawnmowers anymore.
      Yamaha makes a more reliable motorcycle and a hell of a piano.

  • @Acc0rd79
    @Acc0rd79 10 лет назад +8

    Its still a Chrysler, and will be worth half of its new value in just a handful of years. Its gonna take a good 10 years to get outa that hole. Look at Hyundai, was crap for years on end and now making good product. How long did that take? Ill pass and stay with the Japanese cars for myself.

    • @askaribr1
      @askaribr1 10 лет назад +6

      no you are wrong! Chrysler proves itself here in saudi and it is really hot and u don't know what does that mean cus all cars break here including ur japanese cars! but really they prove themselves and their cars are all over. the old cars in the 90s and early 2000 were not good. these cars since the C300 things have change and you still can see the first model of the C300 all over and people are happy with it. the new ones not only sexy and reliable but also fuel consumption is great. that includes Dodge products. so, they have changed and they are good and i don't see a reason to wait as you stated earlier. thank u for mentioning that.

    • @Acc0rd79
      @Acc0rd79 10 лет назад +2

      ؛ُِ}ُ ؛ُِ}ُ ؛ُِ}ُإإإ well go buy them in "Saudi" then and we here will keep buying Japanese cars. I refuse to pay for an American car, especially a Chrysler which will break down in a few years and be worth NOTHING for sale or trade before its even paid off. Trash cars here.

    • @askaribr1
      @askaribr1 10 лет назад +1

      they are good cars and i disagree with you. it is your choice man to buy or not! i did not saying buy it now LOL. breaking down is a failure that could happen with every manufacturer. my idea about cars when i buy them i keep them with me for a good time and i dont think of the price to sale the car after a couple of years. i do see the C300 everywhere in the USA and think this is a good indication of better reliability. your idea is to close the factories of Chrysler and dodge then

    • @Acc0rd79
      @Acc0rd79 10 лет назад +2

      lol I guess in arab countries but in America, these are nothing more than rental cars lol. You never see them driving around without the small rental bar code sticker in the window. Or older models that poor people buy because they aren't worth a lot after a few years. Very cheap cars.

    • @askaribr1
      @askaribr1 10 лет назад +1

      man, i lived in Houston for a good year! it is all over. i traveled all over the USA i always see their cars! i guess u have some personal issues with :) don't worry just keep it up and remember my words after sometimes and see around chrysler 300 and this car too that is stunning for a mid size sedan. ciao bello

    Two problems
    You said near the end it is the 3.6
    You said the old 200 is bleh
    Correction: 3.2 V6 and the "older" 200 still freaken rocks as a car. You could get a v6 loaded for almost 20k. It may not beat a 50k car in everything, but it kicks anything in the ass I've been in in the price range.

    I like the back of the car, but not the not the front. The front looks like an early 2000s Toyota Camry, and they're trying to hard to make this car resemble a high end luxury car(Aston Martin anyone). I like the 2014 200 design, and not this crap. To make it worse, it looks cheap. It's just trying to hard to be something it's not. At least Mercedes got it right with the CLA class.
