Other than the gas mileage, it seems like this thing must be beating the competition in almost every way, unless it is unreliable. As for the gas mileage, it really isn't all that different than the class leaders, and if it is as wonderful to drive as is being expressed in this video, it's probably worth it. It sure is gorgeous though. It looks a class above to me.
The only problem of the car is that at the end of the day it's a Chrysler, they are very unreliable cars, cheaply made and just a lot of trouble. Every new car is good, but if your planning to put 100,000+ miles on it then this is not the car to buy
Great review. I am a honda owner who is impressed with the styling, tech, and safety that this new 2015 200 offers. Honda makes so great cars but they are not perfect. I have had several annoying issues that required warranty repairs with my 13 Accord CVT EXL...
I had a 2002 Accord that burned out 3 transmissions in 5 years. It was the only car that I've ever needed to replace a transmission in. I'm on my second Dodge since then and haven't even needed to replace as much as a light bulb in either one.
I had tons of issues with my 2008 Accord including burning oil under 40,000 miles. "Honda quality" is just nostalgia these days. Not what they were in the 90s...
crazypete8888 I agree. I was doing the books in the repair shop this weekend and there were four Honda products on lifts. All four needed transmissions. As I've said before I won't even buy their lawnmowers anymore. Yamaha makes a more reliable motorcycle and a hell of a piano.
Nice car! They clearly put in some thought and work into it. I am impressed by chrysler's design improvements. Can't believe the interior is that nice..they definitely took some ideas from Audi :)
Beautiful car! IMO, the new 200 is easily the best looking midsize car available. Indeed, it's one of the best looking cars available, period! Well done, Chrysler design team! Kudos yo you!
Overall entertaining and informative review! Only ay 3:00, 35 mpg is since many many years not just territory for subcompact cars. My friends Sonata he bought in 2010 gets 35 mpg highway having a 6 speed and 198 hp.
Its still a Chrysler, and will be worth half of its new value in just a handful of years. Its gonna take a good 10 years to get outa that hole. Look at Hyundai, was crap for years on end and now making good product. How long did that take? Ill pass and stay with the Japanese cars for myself.
no you are wrong! Chrysler proves itself here in saudi and it is really hot and u don't know what does that mean cus all cars break here including ur japanese cars! but really they prove themselves and their cars are all over. the old cars in the 90s and early 2000 were not good. these cars since the C300 things have change and you still can see the first model of the C300 all over and people are happy with it. the new ones not only sexy and reliable but also fuel consumption is great. that includes Dodge products. so, they have changed and they are good and i don't see a reason to wait as you stated earlier. thank u for mentioning that.
؛ُِ}ُ ؛ُِ}ُ ؛ُِ}ُإإإ well go buy them in "Saudi" then and we here will keep buying Japanese cars. I refuse to pay for an American car, especially a Chrysler which will break down in a few years and be worth NOTHING for sale or trade before its even paid off. Trash cars here.
they are good cars and i disagree with you. it is your choice man to buy or not! i did not saying buy it now LOL. breaking down is a failure that could happen with every manufacturer. my idea about cars when i buy them i keep them with me for a good time and i dont think of the price to sale the car after a couple of years. i do see the C300 everywhere in the USA and think this is a good indication of better reliability. your idea is to close the factories of Chrysler and dodge then
lol I guess in arab countries but in America, these are nothing more than rental cars lol. You never see them driving around without the small rental bar code sticker in the window. Or older models that poor people buy because they aren't worth a lot after a few years. Very cheap cars.
man, i lived in Houston for a good year! it is all over. i traveled all over the USA i always see their cars! i guess u have some personal issues with :) don't worry just keep it up and remember my words after sometimes and see around chrysler 300 and this car too that is stunning for a mid size sedan. ciao bello
Two problems You said near the end it is the 3.6 You said the old 200 is bleh Correction: 3.2 V6 and the "older" 200 still freaken rocks as a car. You could get a v6 loaded for almost 20k. It may not beat a 50k car in everything, but it kicks anything in the ass I've been in in the price range.
I like the looks of the new 200, but the thing is dont get is, why does all the cars nowadays, have to be so sports oriented? like 18-19 inch wheels and stiffer suspension... Why cant get just focus on the comfort rather than the sports aspect.
OMG shutup about the damn chicken. It wasn't funny the first time haha. Great car though! It's really nice to see Chrysler putting out really solid products
You can configure it on the Chrysler website now actually, I just did it. It TOPS out at about 35 if you put everything in the highest model so it's comparable to the current 200 in terms of price.
I like the back of the car, but not the not the front. The front looks like an early 2000s Toyota Camry, and they're trying to hard to make this car resemble a high end luxury car(Aston Martin anyone). I like the 2014 200 design, and not this crap. To make it worse, it looks cheap. It's just trying to hard to be something it's not. At least Mercedes got it right with the CLA class.
I think he was paid of on this review. Almost the entire video is free from criticism and comes offf as too positive. That and, some of the things he says seem to directly contradict visual evidence. It's like he wants us to notice
Its a high volume Midsize sedan 1st and foremost (accord, Fusion, Camry). though it can be optioned out to compete with the Entry level Luxury midsize sedans, (TL, MKZ, Regal)
I kinda like it actually. A little japanese looking for my taste but I'm trying to broaden my horizons recently in terms of looks on cars. I especially like the headlights.
I don't care how many features, how "nice" it is overall, $32,000?????? Are you kidding me????? For two or three grand more, if that much, give me the new gti, maybe I'm comparing apples and oranges, but for the performance, QUALITY, and overall versatility, I'd take the gti, without a second thought
+Luis X Luis Well, this is technically an Italian car, designed by FIAT. This particular Chrysler is based on Alfa Romeo Giulietta on which the company tested some really good high tech transmissions--the ones with smaller engines, which are unfortunately not available in the US.
Could you possibly come up with anymore terrible Kentucky references in this video? I'm not even from Kentucky and I'm cringing. I'm a Chicagoan for god's sake.
Chrysler finally got the memo... Its about time they have a truly competitive product in the midsize segment
I'm fucking dieing when he said don't judge me and all the fucking KFC puns I'm dieing this guy is the best hahaha :,)
The S version is the way to go AWD sports suspension and V-6 Engine.
a gorgeous car
This is one rental car I'd actually want to drive.
I like how the classic music first goes then it reverse and goes again with a deep bass dubstep xD 0:40 ... really nice :]
Certainly shocking that it only lasted 3 years. And one of the best looking cars of the 10's era.
Lmfao!! where did they find this chicken guy?
Craig Cole is such a great reviewer
Other than the gas mileage, it seems like this thing must be beating the competition in almost every way, unless it is unreliable. 2.4L I4 Gets 36HWY according to the EPA thats 1mpg better than Chryslers own estimates
The price tops out at about 40k, don't let this fool you the price reflects the car on features. Usually midsize sedans top out at about 34k.
No it tops out at 38,900, a fusion tops out at alil over 40
The only problem of the car is that at the end of the day it's a Chrysler, they are very unreliable cars, cheaply made and just a lot of trouble. Every new car is good, but if your planning to put 100,000+ miles on it then this is not the car to buy
Jesus Manuel says who?

Love this guys reviews, one of the best on RUclips. He should start his own channel !
Chrysler means business. Great review!
I still remember as a kid when my dad bought his civic power steering was an option. We have come a long way.
Listening to all these chicken puns is EGGausting
nice review as expected!
Best looking interior for sure. I think that the Fusion gets the award for best looking exterior.
Love that host's personality! He's awesome.
Excellent review! Is there some info about it coming to Europe (with the Lancia badge of course)?
nicest interior in the segment. by far.
Nice car, took styling cues from the Audi and other European cars. I've never owned a Chrysler but I hope they do well with this one.
I like his geeky style.
Overall entertaining and informative review! Only ay 3:00, 35 mpg is since many many years not just territory for subcompact cars. My friends Sonata he bought in 2010 gets 35 mpg highway having a 6 speed and 198 hp.
Of course it looks good in top trim but how does the actual affordable model look etc
Good job on the review
Good review but you should also emphasize on backseat spacing, trunk space and other feature.
This is actually very impressive... now if only there were a manual transmission
If you want pretty much this car with a manual get a Dart. No 6 or AWD tho...
It looks ALMOST like an Audi, and looks ALMOST like a Tesla as well, kind of a little bit of both in my opinion...
Its still a Chrysler, and will be worth half of its new value in just a handful of years. Its gonna take a good 10 years to get outa that hole. Look at Hyundai, was crap for years on end and now making good product. How long did that take? Ill pass and stay with the Japanese cars for myself.

To bad there wont be an srt 6 version of this car I really like it can make a good sleeper
His voice might be annoying. But he makes some great reviews!
I love my Chrysler 200, I have no complaints so far. Its a great and solid car.
Envy In Motion is your Chrysler still doing well? Any transmission problems?
hm, it actually looks nice. i'm sure some people will buy it, probably trade their old 200 for a new one.
Does that blue look purple at all? I don't like when blue looks purple
AutoGuide is really nerd-o-rama with the testers, not that it's a bad thing. I think the other guy is Canadian besides.
I wished you guys did the Chrysler Pacific review
I think chrysler is doing a good job with this one.
Two problems
You said near the end it is the 3.6
You said the old 200 is bleh
Correction: 3.2 V6 and the "older" 200 still freaken rocks as a car. You could get a v6 loaded for almost 20k. It may not beat a 50k car in everything, but it kicks anything in the ass I've been in in the price range.
Since when did D.J. Qualls start reviewing cars?????
Thanks for NOT showing the rear seat (room) by the way......
this guy is jokes! i like him! subbed!
I like the looks of the new 200, but the thing is dont get is, why does all the cars nowadays, have to be so sports oriented? like 18-19 inch wheels and stiffer suspension... Why cant get just focus on the comfort rather than the sports aspect.
It's nice....but I'll stay with my 2012 200S
interior is really nice.
Best looking midsize car hands down!!! Forza FCA!!!
I enjoyed this review, this guy is funny 😅
Rims from Range Rover Evoque, gear selector from LandRover/Jaguar...
what other cars would you recommend similar to this one under the 20k price?
OMG shutup about the damn chicken. It wasn't funny the first time haha. Great car though! It's really nice to see Chrysler putting out really solid products
Anyone else think the grill on the previous version looks better.
could you stop with the kfc puns already...
The non-S models have chrome and wood instead of black and to me look a lot better.
looks like a luxurious hyundai elantra I wish they put some American style into it god forbid what they will do to the 300
If a reliable company made this I would be all over it in a heartbeat! Unfortunately.. Cant do it..
how this guy has this job is beyond me...
I like it but prefer the Cherokee which is based on the same platform.
good try FCA ...but I'll stick to my '14 Fusion thank you
this guy is so fucking entertaining to watch
Dude your reviewing a car not fucking KFC!!!
For someone who likes KFC, you think this guy could eat some.
Ford Fusion is sexier.
295 Hp ? Good lord. over kill lol sweet option tho and much better then the older car.
$32,000? Way too much. Here in Canada you will add 20-30% to that. I'll stick to my Audi thank you. Great looking car.
almost 300hp, AWD Feature that can send 60% of power to the rear wheels, very premium interior for the segment its in. Thats worth 32K
The music is stupid af like really ?
It looks a lot like that concept car they had chrysler Ev concept
I usually am okay with this guy, but daheck is up with the references??
wow he said "bonnet to boot" Australian/British terminology. I thought Americans call it a hood and a trunk??
All the chicken jokes than dude goes dont judge me lolol
random additive of kfc?! Sheer brilliance lmao
I feel like this is also a KFC commercial
I liek dis car, but I'm still going with the honda civic si 2014
Why wont this guy shut up about chicken?
Because his boyfriend is one.
whats the average price??? i was waiting to listen... :(
You can configure it on the Chrysler website now actually, I just did it. It TOPS out at about 35 if you put everything in the highest model so it's comparable to the current 200 in terms of price.
Shi t. Bird thanks... for sharing to the community...
His puns 😂
allover can see FIAT influence :)

Or its just a great car! I've yet to see or read a negative review on it. Chrysler hit a home run on this car!
How does this compete with the Camry accord and fusion isn't this supposed to be a luxury vehicle
Its a high volume Midsize sedan 1st and foremost (accord, Fusion, Camry). though it can be optioned out to compete with the Entry level Luxury midsize sedans, (TL, MKZ, Regal)
Comment section is full of trolls and people who have drove rentals.....
That is a very nice looking car for the money, so for all you haters out there get a life.
dude.. they just keep on killing the looks on 2015 vehicles..
I feel like he's implying this is a car for black people with all these fried chicken jokes. lol
Give me a break, better than Acura and Lexus products. Maybe from ten years ago
Jesus peeps be more negative
This car is ugly as hell. Therefore I'll pass on it
I kinda like it actually. A little japanese looking for my taste but I'm trying to broaden my horizons recently in terms of looks on cars. I especially like the headlights.
Shi t. Bird Looks like a bloated civic from the outside.
It is reminiscent of a civic, I'm not disagreeing with you. I'm just saying that I kind of like it. Different strokes I guess.
If he says ONE MORE joke about KFC he's going to find himself in a ditch, and very Dead.
2 or 3 grand more?!? So 34 to 36k for a GOLF? Lol, no thanks.
crazypete8888 Lol Right, who the hell wants a Golf? xD
Video sponsored by KFC
enough with KFC jokes
No better way to cheapen the brand. The Autoguide.com brand, that is. This review need to be dubbed.
looks like an audi to me. and its american made. so win win...
you know you could have at least shined up the tires just a lil..smh
200 = Dodge Dart on Steroids....I hope to God that the don't make the 300's front end fugly like this
I don't trust that transmission. Usually American cars suck, with that transmission it looks like it will suck even worst.
Luis X Luis It's a ZF 9 speed.. it's a great transmission.. makes the car more economical and way more peppy with short ratios and quick shifts..
Luis X Luis Says the person that can't even comment with proper grammar.
+Luis X Luis Well, this is technically an Italian car, designed by FIAT. This particular Chrysler is based on Alfa Romeo Giulietta on which the company tested some really good high tech transmissions--the ones with smaller engines, which are unfortunately not available in the US.
U need a stylist, man...
THE WORST CAR I EVER DROVE IN MY LIFE 0 TO 60 IN 10 MINUTES
295 ponies :P
3G CON-Nectivity lol
Mhm.... Gosh almighty?
Could you possibly come up with anymore terrible Kentucky references in this video? I'm not even from Kentucky and I'm cringing. I'm a Chicagoan for god's sake.
