Interested to see the direction this channel will take! I haven’t watched the non hunt vids admittedly but they just haven’t been about topics I’m into.
Why do you want to do youtube? Spend some good time thinking on that. I'd caution you from shaping your channel around your audience wants. If you want it to grow, channel focus is a huge thing, either in style/format (like essay channels) or in topic. A big thing I love about creating is that i'm always developing a skillset that I enjoy. Video crafting is a lot of fun, and every video, I try to improve it in a meaningful way. Whatever you do, good luck, and have fun with it!
You should be yourself. In a platform that is already saturated with Hunt content, it shouldn't be forced on you if you don't enjoy as much. Hell same here i only play during events at this point. The Botany idea is interesting and original and I like how you said it, its you, whereas in videogames its all about humor or skill. I would defintaley watch botany just because its new and fresh to me. Pursue your interests and being all over the place is also good in itself.
for real though just do you! when I discovered you I was playing a lot of hunt. I logged ~300 hrs last year, burnt myself out on it pretty hard and idk when I’ll come back to it if ever. So the fact you’re also not into Hunt anymore is validating. I think the best thing about your videos is you are genuine and you have a good sense of humor. If you’re forcing yourself to make videos about something you’re not fully into then both will suffer imo. All that said, good luck! I’m subbed + will tune in every once in a while. Cheers
