lol, what are you taling about?, that would affect the game desing and the playability? (wich is the main thing that make the Yoshi games so fun), i don't think so... and it would be really dumb if Nintendo only sells Yoshi with Labos.
The Nintendo Labo costs 70 because it comes with the game and it's a very complicated set to make and put together(Although i think it still to much, but whatever). Normally switch games cost about 50 or 60 bugs so with the addition of Labo, I think it would be a 70 :/
So true. People need to realize this is for those who are kids or kids at heart. Dude Im 26 and I am legit hype for this. Yes 70 and 80 bucks might seem like a lot but when normal games are 60$ and this is multiple games in one; at least for the variety pack, so much you can do. Now I am just wondering if the Robo one comes in different sizes LOL
schnitzeli1 Ok you have fun trying to make it yourself. Then not have the games to play with it. Cause they probably only come in the kit. Some of these include things other than cardboard too not that they r hard to obtain. Some of the contraptions r more complex than people might think
I'm glad that SOMEONE else is as excited about this as me. Seriously though, this is such a cool idea! Nintendo is not only thinking outside the box, they're tearing it UP! Letsss goooooo
Roger, when ever I want a genuine reaction to anything, I come to you. Some are mad cuz it's "too kiddy" or w/e but I knew you'd love it. It's why you're one of the good folks out there. Keep on being you my dude.
Glad I am not the only one that got super excited at this. LOL, I am so jealous of kids these days with their engineering toys. When I was a kid, the closest we got was Kinects, Legos, and Legos Imagineering robots. However, I would have been all over this along with all those make your own computer, games, etc kits you can buy these days. Honestly, though, I am so into this Nintendo Labo thing that I think they should do Nintendo Labo for Smash Brothers! It could either be an item (Like a pokeball that you use to create a random item instead of a random summon, and then it breaks over time or could get smashed by the opponents when you wear it) or a new way to make a MiiFighter set (or even costume).
As a guy who loves arts and crafts, this is outstanding! I'm so hyped for this thing! Thank you Nintendo! Don't let anyone talk you down for being too gimmicky! :D
Power Pad 30 years ago. Remember that? When Nintendo doesn't do what Iwata did(FORCE underpowered, gimmicky consoles out to the market) they create and release charming Gimmicks(that are just for fun and NOT required for the SKU) that have charm and appeal.
Nintendo is *STILL WAKING UP,* which is what I'm very proud of them for continuing to do, and I personally love that they're even letting little babies get into the world of creating new things! After me seeing the announcement earlier today, I thought "What could it be? Is it going to be an innovation that I would never expect to happen?", but Nintendo Labo SERIOUSLY got me when I was watching that video just now! Nintendo is going places continuously and I know that this year (2018) is gonna be an awesome year for them to get to the fun stuff with this! So much hype going on for sure when it comes to Nintendo now, including both the ToyCon and Robot kits! 😍
nintendo first made cards back in late 1800s, then love hotels, appliances, toys and then video games. This Labo is them getting back to their roots. Im digging the little robots and the fishing and mecha thing
Now, that is something. That’s innovative and creative! It’s a cardboard, yes, but the idea is legit! Kids and kids at heart will definitely enjoy this.
This is such a fascinating concept as a whole! The cardboard cut out idea is kind of genius, too. Customizable, recyclable, cheaper to replace (I'm sure they'll have packs you can buy minus the game, so different kids can have their own version of a thing) than something plastic. I'm really looking forward to seeing how it all works in day-to-day use, Nintendo caught my attention with this one.
I already love it. This is how I'm going to get my 4 month old son into video games in a couple of years. It's going to be pre-ordered, put on the shelf and be there waiting for him. It's how I'm going to convince my wife to let him play with the Switch! I love Nintendo for things like this.
If you do get Nintendo Labo early, you need to do a live stream where you build the sets, similar to the live stream where you built your thousand sunny replica model! I'd totally tune into that!
I don´t get why so many people are hating this new idea, its realy original and its great FOR KIDS, the fact is that this idea can have a realy good future in the gaming world if done correctly
Reminds me of my chidhood 30 years ago. They brought an old fashion into a new generation. You can paint them and they are cheaper than plastic accecories.Brilliant
Honestly I think this has some pretty great potential. Like can you imagine using the steering wheel and pedal to play Mario Kart. Or even the camera for a new Pokemon Snap? I’m actually kind of interested in this.
I'm a die-hard nintendo fan and I promise I'll support this now but when I first saw this it went way over my head then the second time through I realised how much potential it had
Shouldn't be a problem to craft your own replacement parts out of cardboard. with the plans for free online, or, ya know, fix it with some tape. That is, if the games hold the interest of the kids longer than the durability of the ToyCons.
I don't have kids yet but I really hope that Nintendo is still doing this in a few years when I do. So damn cool. Like Legos but taken to the next level. My fiance and I are planning to homeschool so something like this would be great to learn about engineering and mechanics and the satisfaction of building something with your own hands while having fun.
I loved the reaction Roger. It will be interesting if they incorporate this concept with some of their franchises like Switch Sports, Animal Crossing, Star Fox, or WarioWare as like an extra way to play. Also would be cool if they brought back Professor E. Gadd to explain it all or maybe they come up with a new mascot.
I guess I don't know if Labo met their expectations, but looking back I almost think they should have just sold plastic or NERF style accessories instead of expecting people to spend six hours making something out of flimsy cardboard just to play a mediocre game. This came out meaner than I wanted, I have no I'll will to it, just think they could have done a better job with this concept. Edit: Ok if anyone is reading this turns out Reggie was asked about this during his book tour and Labor sold well, but didn't blow up like they thought it would. I also forgot they had the audacity to sell a single kit for $80 USD so I feel reinforced that they might as well have just sold actually toys instead.
is everyone forgetting its cardboard. i don't see why everyone is so excited for cardboard. its a big jump back the way i see they should give us more game instead of cardboard. come on Nintendo wheres retro games
4/20. I guess that is all that needs to be said. Interesting. I am curious as to how things are gonna work. As a purely mechanical concept...friggin' genius. Some fairly complicated stuff here (the robot/mech construct, the steering wheel contruct, and (to a lesser extent) the piano construct) My only real concern is how long will the cardboard last? I would of thought of another material to package in and thought of other ways to get to a good price point. But what type of material can it be that does not cost a fortune, is light, and can be bent at sharp and subtle angles? Maybe extra card board kits are available and cheap. That would kinda fix my worries. Just buy extra kits.
*For those worried about the price Nintendo Will Freely Provide Cardboard Design Patterns For Labo* _"IGN France confirmed that Labo Kits won’t actually be required to play Labo games, the cartridge or download will be all that you need. Does anyone see the possible connection to and odd potential of a Nintendo Labo kit specifically made for the new Yoshi Pop Up cardboard game they're releasing later this year?? Maybe that's why they held off mentioning it with Kirby in the Direct mini. Just an interesting thought.

Just so everyone knows, I play music not Roblox. Don’t do this Roger. Lol
Yea, I can't find any music videos on your channel.
What are all those private videos?
All I see are Jailbreak and Meep City ROBLOX Videos, not music.
Mel Arky I can’t find any Roblox but i can find music
i guess it's quite randomly asking but does anybody know a good site to watch newly released series online?
Legit I almost cried watching this, as a father of 3 small children. This will literally make them so happy!
Ikr?, i mean i don't have 3 children, but i can see the kids telling their parents to buy them some Labo.
70$-80$ is just too much man. me and my 4 yr old would love this but its way too much
you tube Note that you're buying software and accessories, not just cardboard.
Thank you. And Nintendo would be really dumb if they don't include games with Labo accesories.
Hunter Lewis still with that price tag though, its just too much for me
I'M CALLING IT, the new Yoshi it's gonna have some Labos to play with.
Vlackk are u nuts that would be sick OMG
lol, what are you taling about?, that would affect the game desing and the playability? (wich is the main thing that make the Yoshi games so fun), i don't think so... and it would be really dumb if Nintendo only sells Yoshi with Labos.
Vlackk OH MY F**KING GOD
Vlackk better not cost $70 if that’s the case
The Nintendo Labo costs 70 because it comes with the game and it's a very complicated set to make and put together(Although i think it still to much, but whatever). Normally switch games cost about 50 or 60 bugs so with the addition of Labo, I think it would be a 70 :/
Anyone that doesn't understand Nintendo Labo threw every last bit of their childlike heart away
So true. People need to realize this is for those who are kids or kids at heart. Dude Im 26 and I am legit hype for this. Im gonna buy all the worlds Nintendo labo's
NINTENDO LABOBOOBOBOBO
Huh??? Why should I pay Nintendo for cardboard??? Just buy something on Amazon or somewhere else and use the cardboardbox and make it yourself!
schnitzeli1 Ok you have fun trying to make it yourself. Then not have the games to play with it. Cause they probably only come in the kit. Some of these include things other than cardboard too not that they r hard to obtain. Some of the contraptions r more complex than people might think
How do anyone think this is too much? Its 2018, SNES games were $70 back then! I guess this is the new EBT nation.
This is one of those „Shut up and take my money“ moment like in this Futurama meme.
Max Jahns So you are hyped for a $80 carboard?!?
I'm glad that SOMEONE else is as excited about this as me. Seriously though, this is such a cool idea! Nintendo is not only thinking outside the box, they're tearing it UP! Letsss goooooo
MissClick Gaming hi miss click i subbed to ya, i like you sweater pjs.
Thinking outside the box is one thing. But using THE box to think is a whole different Nintendo!
Super excited about this conversation.! This one took everyone by surprise!
Think you forget it also comes with software, love!
@Dustin Hawk $60-$70 dollar software and $10-$20 cardboard
Roger, when ever I want a genuine reaction to anything, I come to you. Some are mad cuz it's "too kiddy" or w/e but I knew you'd love it. It's why you're one of the good folks out there. Keep on being you my dude.
Its not less genuine if someone doesn't like it.
I probably won’t be getting it, but I’m happy for those who actually wanna purchase it! Maybe i’ll get project giant robot at some point afterwards.
Glad I am not the only one that got super excited at this. LOL, I am so jealous of kids these days with their engineering toys. Yo I didn't expect it to be this hype, I love the creativity and courage. Keep being Nintendo, Nintendo.
Nintendo's just reusing all the Unused Wii U boxes tbh
Gumo Elite really uh yes but project robot is confirmed woo-hoo
x'D A C C U R A T E
Triple-A waste management.
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
That Rowlet is really fascinated by they ps4 controller.
IM DONE
Can't unsee it anymore.

Roger is one of the only people who can wear a v-neck and look normal, haha.
Star Wars light sabers pls Nintendo !
they had things like that..for the Wii
Trey Ahzze
But these will theoretically be cheaper and easier to manufacture.
I can only imagine Rogers reaction on Christmas morning as a child. He is so genuine and excitable.
My boi is watching a Nintendo video on a ps4 lol
I D R I S T H E K E E P E R right the disrespect lol
nintendo first made cards back in late 1800s, then love hotels, appliances, toys and then video games. This Labo is them getting back to their roots.
Im digging the little robots and the fishing and mecha thing
Remember Power Pad? From EXACTLY 30 years ago?
Labo is kinda of the same execution.
Tornado1994 I remember most of those. I am as old as the NES when it got portedto the US...32 yrs old now.
If they are coming back to the roots where are the love hotels influence :p
What did you think the 'house' was? :P
lone wolf I dont think Nintendo is going to sell adult themed items. The house probably will be a carpentry based item or housing building themed.
Now, that is something. That’s innovative and creative! It’s a cardboard, yes, but the idea is legit! Kids and kids at heart will definitely enjoy this.
Can’t wait to play while I’m high on 4-20
Rogers reactions are the best reactions. He makes me feel even more like a kid than I already am at heart....
T O Y C O N B O Y Z
I subbed to you. Can you sub to me?
that looks really cool OMG and so creative !!
Glad to see you're enjoying it. I'm personally excited for the Robot Kit game, and I want to see how this turns out!
“OH WHAT, hold on!” and “Waaait a minute!” : A summary of Roger reaction videos. Love it.
I enjoy watching your reactions Rogers base!
I am 13 years old and i think this looks amazing
i know right :D
This is such a fascinating concept as a whole! The cardboard cut out idea is kind of genius, too. I can't wait to get these and play it :D
I have a 7 year old sister and dude...I love Nintendo. And I love this channel too. :D
The HD rumble in the joy-cons make the cardboard move
Vitoamiibo really thats interesting it's like an remote control car lol in tablet form
Watch 2 grown men overreact about cardboard.
To be fair I was overreacting about cardboard when this was revealed as well.
Watching new Nintendo Trailers on a Ps4. Controversial.
I already love it. This is how I'm going to get my 4 month old son into video games in a couple of years. It's going to be pre-ordered, put on the shelf and be there waiting for him. It's how I'm going to convince my wife to let him play with the Switch! I love Nintendo for things like this.
They actually teased the VR kit in the very first trailer! You can see the bird, wind pedal and elephant accessories starting at 3:35.
Nintendo has evolved the switch beyond a mere portable home console. The creativity behind this is mind blowing. I am so ready!!!

Perfect reaction
The build up of hype
Realizing the ir camera use
So right
If C2E2 is AFTER this is out,I wanna "box" in our Robo suits. Lmfao. -Pablo
Other companied: "Think outside the box"
Nintendo: "Hey man, can I borrow these boxes? I'm gonna make a billion dollars"
Honestly I think this has some pretty great potential. Like can you imagine using the steering wheel and pedal to play Mario Kart. Or even the camera for a new Pokemon Snap? I’m actually kind of interested in this.
Finally LEGO can make use of Nintendo to push them to make different lego TOYCONS it would be interesting
I'm a die-hard nintendo fan and I promise I'll support this now but when I first saw this it went way over my head then the second time through I realised how much potential it had
Innovation at its finest! Cool stuff
This makes me want a Virtual-On sequel with cardboard dual sticks.
Watching a Nintendo announcement on a PS4, the madman
I’ll give it a month before the kid some how breaks the cardboard.A footpedal made out of cardboard no way that’s going to last long
Shouldn't be a problem to craft your own replacement parts out of cardboard. with the plans for free online, or, ya know, fix it with some tape. That is, if the games hold the interest of the kids longer than the durability of the ToyCons.
This is the first time I've heard someone say fishing rod in a hyped way
only $69.99 for reuse cardboard BOIS!!!!
As someone who played with cardboard a ton as a kid I can totally understand any kid that reaches for thos
Google: we are gonna make cheap vr for our devices.
Nintendo: Hold my beer.
Also it comes out on my birthday, sooo...
This was really out of nowhere
Now I can build my own rob the robot for my switch 😀😀😀
theyve said recently that theyll be selling the games and cardboard seperately, also they will be offering free sets to print yourself.
I'm so happy found someone who is as just as excited for this game like me XD
I loved the reaction Roger. It will be interesting if they incorporate this concept with some of their franchises like Switch Sports, Animal Crossing, Star Fox, or WarioWare as like an extra way to play. Also would be cool if they brought back Professor E. Gadd to explain it all or maybe they come up with a new mascot.
Getting BAKED and playing this on 420
Toycon Bois!
I subbed to you can you sub to me!?
My kawaaaaaaiiiian broooooooo. It’s really nice to see you around here. This brazilian misses ya dudeeeee
I really like that Rey poster in the background
Roger watching nintendo content on his ps4

I hope me and Roger meet one day I would love to do a song on the labo piano while he's singing.
*_Cardboard + imagination = Nintendo Labo_** xD*
So last minute Roger left his PS4 controller on lmao
Wouldn’t it be cool if they recreated a R.O.B from the cardboard?
I imagine Roger going to cinema theaters and screaming through the whole movie.
It’s augmented reality... kinda. Whatever it is it’s cool :D
The two sets will cost $70 each, which is a bit too pricy for me, but i think it’s enough for parents to get for their kids.
Lego costs way more i dont see people complaining 150 for a star wars death star model wtf
10 points for being watching a Nintendo related news in a Playstation hehe
We love your reaction. Cardboard is surprisingly strong and capable. The revolution in games is on!
is everyone forgetting its cardboard. i don't see why everyone is so excited for cardboard. its a big jump back the way i see they should give us more game instead of cardboard. come on Nintendo wheres retro games

where are people gonna store these?? Will you have to disassemble and rebuilt it every time??
They better do Star fox and Luigi's mansion mini games for this
That Lickitung is haunting...

robot pack looks great. you guys might be a little dissapointed with the pricing though.
There watching it on PlayStation.
Well guys, legit we just saw Mario Paint on steroids lol!
Everyone will be high when this comes out
Damn you were so hyped you kept interrupting the other guy lol
Innovation and creativity this Nintendo in a nutshell this looks adorable and overall a genius idea kids will enjoy this.
Nintendo never fails to outdo itself with its ingenuity and creativity. Wow.
Island Arcade is a good looking dude.
Yo, that new camera looks sick Roger
Does anyone see the possible connection to and odd potential of a Nintendo Labo kit specifically made for the new Yoshi Pop Up cardboard game they're releasing later this year?? Maybe that's why they held off mentioning it with Kirby in the Direct mini. Just an interesting thought.
Perfect reaction
Lmao theyre watching the video with a ps4
So happy my birthday is on the day it comes out 😁👍
So we not gonna talk about how hot tht DADDY IS 👀
TOY-CONS!
The variety kit doesn't include the camera, duck, joystick or bass drum peddle (?) and because software can easily be updated in the future they must have dozens more designs already available for launch or coming out soon after. Then you mention the homebrew cardboard hacks everyone can potentially create and this thing sells itself to those who are kids at heart. I was sold the first time I watched the trailer but after viewing again and hearing your opinions I think it's an easy purchase even if the initial cost is a bit high. I think more people will be sold once they see more of the product or try it for themselves, but obviously it has a very specific target audience.
The Japanese lost sensitivity to the left person
The cardboard itself is way to expensive. 150 dollars to get both kits.
Finally, someone that shared the same reaction with me. I'm so excited!
I'm guessing this is Nintendo's take on VR.
