  • Today I am using the all so familiar drop shot can turn a slow day into at least a fish or two. I like to use this technique in shallow water less than 20 ft and bait size is going to depend on the actual bite size. This day I started with a 5 inch and kept getting short bites and so switched to the 3 inch and had back to back hookups before the bite shut down on me.

    SB Harbor in da house! I was fishing over at East Beach by the Volley Ball Courts the other day. Caught 3 Hali's with the lucky craft minnow, the biggest one was right at 21"...

    Peeling drag brings a smile to every angler ☺ My buddy uses drop shot for butts from the bank but I have yet to try it.

    How many inches apart do you set the bait from sinker? And what size hook do you use? Do the yellow gulp ones work too?

    • @CckfNet
      @CckfNet  5 лет назад +1

      I keep it short less than a foot from the sinker. I was using a #4 strait shank hook but would say match your bait as best as possible. I bet the yellow work killer as well. Will give them a shot next time have some in my back already might as well give them a shot.
