In this clip, Azie Faison addressed rumors that Alpo Martinez went to Rich Porter's wake, and he confirmed that Alpo's name was signed in the guest book at the wake, but added that he didn't personally see him there. Azie then added that he saw Alpo at a restaurant a month after Rich died, and he says that Alpo asked him about giving Rich's family $50,000 so they would stop saying that he killed Rich. To hear more, including Azie speaking about writing the movie about his life, which later became "Paid in Full," hit the above clip.

I think the 50k wasn't to keep them from saying he killed Rich I think Alpo genuinely felt bad and that was his way of trying to make amends
He didn't feel bad. He felt bad the way everyone else reacted. He knew that was the one murder no one would forgive
Alpo always said he regret killing Rich. But Rich killed himself when he Robbed Alpo out of half of million dollars. I seen people kill people for less money 💰 it's not cool to me but that's how the streets do

He mentioned Alpo asking him if he offered Pat and Velma 50k a piece would they stop saying that, in that early 200s documentary. He just added some more details to the story.
Azie just done so much in his life he straightened up getting shot and going to jail will change you.. Plus the fact that his own homie was trying to kill him hunted him until his homie died October 31st now he feels like a free man and Willie to give the best interview possible
