As a freshman DC who ran the stack for the first time this year, and used some of these concepts, nice to confirm that we installed correctly. Also got some new concept ideas for next year. Thanks for the great video coach.
Coach! awesome video. We've added the STACK look as a change of pace. Noticed that a lot of teams struggle against it as they may not know where the pressure is coming from and for us it gets us more athletes on the field right now. Typically to the 1 receiver side, we run a hard funnel concept. Or pending on who the opponent is, we may do a roll concept if we get 3x1 attached. Blessed to have a lot of good athletes in the secondary so we're able to get away with a lot that most won't. I do love the SKY concept as our safeties have a heavy tendency to get their noses dirty, for us it works. Would love to see more videos like this. Keep up the great work!
We actually have had a ton of success in the Stack as a base defense with no movements, fitting runs as a 6 man box. Glad you liked the video and thank you for supporting PlayFastFootball.
Coach, why don't you just play hard press cover 2 with corner reading RB (when RB is away from 3 WRs) with LS over top? I would be afraid of that first blitz you wrote up because you have no one for the QB I/S Zone pull...

We certainly pressure, we just dont move every snap like most 3-3 teams.

We play Hard Cov 2 to the single, if we run the Solid pressure the edge blitzer has the QB on Zone Read stuff.
