Is the Fender logo on the headstock added by a waterslide? I'm building my own guitar, and I wish to have my own logo on it. (Btw my Standard Strat is from 2012; same year as this video was made. Maybe it's one of these? Hehe)
Want to see more from Fender???? Why not just show us more in this video. You already have the footage and you sped it up for NO REASON. This is RUclips, not television where you have time restrictions. People want to watch a 30 minute or even an hour video of you guys making a guitar. Why not just show it? As much as I love Wayne Kramer, I'd much rather hear the sounds of the machines and maybe commentary and video at normal speed.
The finish looked great after spray on and looked dull after being finished buffing.
no thank you
Michael David yes thank you
If the Stratocaster was good enough for the greater rock guitarist of all time, Jimi Hendrix, then it's more than good enough for me.
Scamming for a Living and who are you
@@lionelmax2953 A Homo-sapiens. What, you want him to be Washington's 6th grandchild or Hendrix's bastard child for him to matter?
Add Tommy Bolin, David Gilmour, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Ritchie Blackmore and that Swedish shred merchant.
@@lespauldisciple3349 Stevie Ray Vaughn
@@aaronludwig8150 I am very sure he meant Yngwie Malmsteen.😅
I like and own many guitars, but the Fender Stratocaster is and will always be my very favorite. It is still so popular with so many because it was the first electric guitar that was designed based totally on the input and needs of touring musicians. Thanks Leo Fender for caring about what we think.
EricBlackmonGuitar Sad for him to have passed away. atleast Fender isnt the only company he made.
EricBlackmonGuitar Yes but they refuse to innovate or change anything. No lowered scale length, no new controls, no fixed bridges. There should be a strat for everyone, not a strat for some people who play a certain kind of thing.
Sightseeing lol. suuuure. totally. maybe youre just not looking. lol.
@Sightseeing Huh? There are hardtail Strats. There are Strats in every pickup configuration under the sun. There are Strats at 22.75" scale length. Pretty much the only thing that doesn't change about the Stratocaster is the body shape. But the iconic Strat has a 25.5" scale, SSS pickups, and a tremolo bridge.
The strat was a fantastic design, not only because of how it fulfilled the needs of the users, but it's also completely built with ease of production in mind. The bolt on neck with straight headstock, the stamped saddles, the drop in pickguard that can be pre-wired etc. made the strat cheap to produce and therefore much more accessible than for instance a Gibson. After starting to build guitars myself I really started to appreciate its "design for manufacturing".
"Congratulations! It's a Strat."
I want one of these gems!
Great guitars.
I really want to get a Fender 'Edge' Strat. It sounds amazing.
You can never have enough of those awesome Fender guitars.
The best guitars on the planet.
I want one of those musical gems!
The dream factory.
Most beautiful guitar in the world...
Fender guitars are often copied, but never duplicated.
Amen
Amen that.
What
#Rock!
Fender guitars are often bought, but never purchased.
Rock on Fender guitar players.
I own five Fender Strats, and I'm still looking to acquire more of these musical gems.
Which one is your fave?
I'll sell u my Clapton
fender is the best musical instrument 👍
Oh my god, i love my Sunset Burst Strat.
One of my favourite videos in YT.
Happy 105 Birthday Mr Leo Fender thank you making guitar
I really like the Fender Hendrix Strats, they're so cool.
I wonder if my squier had the same love and affection when she was being made
Same
The Rolls Royce of electric guitars.
Joe B fuck “only a Gibson is good enough“. I know that Gibsons are total different guitars than Fenders, but the craftsmanship at Fender is at a whole different level
@@rainerwinkler1026 yeah. Even Epiphone nowadays is better quality than Gibson. Gibson fucked up real bad
@@siddharthsharma8940 I own a les paul that i'm extremely happy with it plays like a dream but im so glad i didn't accidentally buy one of those ones with the stupid robotic tuners that gibson started putting on their guitars =/
Oh yeah, Epiphone is awesome!
@@rainerwinkler1026 Gibson have gone to the dogs!
Bulk of more amazing Factory Of The Fender
With no disrespect to Gibson, fender makes the greatest guitars ever made. Im a strat & tele man for life!
I love My Stratocaster and Telecaster
Interesting how hand made they still are. Basically the same as how I build them in my garage. Cool to see people building them and not robots.
Only Fender can be the best.
Where the legend is born
Million thanks to leo fender
For my white strat
I would love to see how MY strat was born......
seek help
if it was made in mexico, just watch the video again...same wood, same workers, same necks, 50 miles south
i have one of these american special ones
+Jürgen Kraise mine was delivered by Cesarean...that was the name of the driver...Cesarean Smith Martinez Washington DeUSA Magillicutty Ball the IX from Newport California...true story
Rigo es Amor
Does he had a badge?
I have two USA Strats, The 1st one 1984 issue, Black, owned since purchased new in 1985 Second I bought in 2012 - Mystic Blue Metallic . The Black, I've had longer than anything I've ever owned - buy quality, You get quality. I took it back to the same store I bought it from a few years ago under new ownership. The new owners (Father & Son) Who are guitar enthusiasts & band Members Absolutely LOVED It & each had to play it. I was told -" Whatever You do, Don't sell it !!" I Love My Strats - Period !!!
Love these kinds of headstock ...
Yeah, they deep-fry the American Strat pickups, and dunk the Mexican Strat pickups in hot salsa. xD
And drench Chinese ones in hotpots.
@@randompheidoleminor3011 And give chinese ones touch of corona.
Nox oof that’s true
@@DarkShadows-me2fj Haha
lol
From some pieces of wood, to a playable instrument. Always fun to watch.
In addition to the machine being worked by hand... Very precise....
I am so proud of having a strat!
That painter deserves a RAISE!
Incredible video. I had to watch it twice in a row. The hard work and skill that goes into this instrument is mesmerizing.
I love Fender.
We lost Wayne today RIP
So that's how legends are made !
I upgraded from 2005 MIM to a 2013 MIA and I can confirm you theres a whole lotta difference
shn amn buy a 2013 mim then and see the difference from your 2005. mim fenders are pretty damn good nowadays.
Agreed! Huge difference in quality control, even now. I only know because I sell them. If you can muster the extra funds then get the American one, pay once for the quality.
Yea post 2008 MIM Strats had better pickups and overall quality
shn amn wow if you say so it's good enough for me .I have a MIM"50's TELE " it rocks ! you wouldn't know the fuckin diff, you're just brain washed.
This doesn't seem to be the case in 2021 now with a the new lineup of Strats. The Fender Player Series Strat and the American Professional Strat are virtually the same. Made in Mexico Strats have stepped their game up. The Player Series feels no different from an American Standard Series Strat from 2015
Never been able to afford a Fender US Strat. Always had Squiers or other copies. One day. It will be mine!
the greatest job in the world.
I come back to this video to see how my American special strat from 2012 (like this one in the video) was made. This instrument is holding up soooo well ten years after. I did change the pickups and I put a black pickguard because it looked cooler but man it plays like heaven. My guitar and my dog have brought me more hours of joy than many humans in my life
Love the smell of Maple sawdust in the morning .
Fender and Fender's lines are the guitars and basses i want because there the best
Thumbs up brother Wayne Kramer.
Nice job on the video, easily recognizable unique sound makes the stratocaster so popular.
İts the best time lapse video i've ever seen
Harika video yaa
Greatest guitars in the world...
Fender makes the best electric guitars and amps.
I recently got a squier strat (sunburst) last Christmas, and after a month of using it, it’s really the best guitar for me. Thanks, Fender! 😄
I'm glad people work in these in for real America and not a factory in Asia where kids are making things
Andr3wTheDestroyer California and Mexico. Their only 2 factories as far as i know.
+GamingRisen doesn't fender still make products in japan?
haggai samuelson
Yes but those are exclusive to Japan. im talking about global models.
well my squier strat was made in indonesia and last time i checked indonesia wasnt in mexico or the us
wild_shark
Squier makes them outside the Us and Mexico. Cheaper that way. only main Fender stuff (American/Standard) are made in the US and Mexico.
another love is born.
Mine was made in 1979, bought it in 1980, been rockin' ever since.
When I was little, I called the strat the drake and josh guitar.
That show influenced me to buy a strat in the first place, haha.
Which episode was that?
Drake played a dark cherry Les Paul, WTF?
Yep that was a good tv show
Y'all remember when nickeloadeon wasn't cringy?
plot twist: the soundtrack to this video was played on a gibson.
Sure does sound like one
You wish. Gibsons break down so much, there's no way that one could have played that long, without malfunctioning.
WTF 😂😂
Omg best comment on this vid 🤣
No. If a Gibson guitar was being used in this video, you could easily tell, since it wouldn't be able to stay in tune. Lol!!
Imagine the guy who has this guitar, being lucky enough to see his guitar before it was even sold
Watching this is like watching the process of how you were born , ......INTERESTING!!!!!
Song sounds a hell of a lot like ruby by kaiser chiefs
fast forward to 3:05 to see the very reason wood no longer makes a difference in solid body guitar tone!
+manifestgtr what are they doing?
+Nicholas Manoukian potting the pickups...dipping them in wax so that they reject literally everything from the outside world except for the electromagnetic influence from the strings
okay. nice
Wouldn't it be cheaper and time efficient to build bodies and necks out of a molded material made from some sort of plastic?
+Baghuul Yes but people wouldn't buy them because they are still stuck in the 50's when it comes to electric guitar technology for the most part
I still have my 2011 American Standard Strat in Olympic White. Love this Strat. There are many lookalikes in the market but there is only one Fender Stratocaster.
Wayne Kramer!!
I love this, strats are my favs, got 4 of them and a P bass :)
Of all the songs that could have been used in the video...
ive always wanted a fender strat
Thankyou fender i love my stratocasters they are the best guitars ever
Strats are nice, but I prefer the mustang
You mean the poorly drawn Stratocaster?
@@themadkraken1912 no the mustang. I currently have a telecaster but I am saving for a les paul custom
So that means... I never bought a brand new guitar, only used ones?
The creation of the most beautiful instrument in the world,
No, man. It by Wayne Kramer of one of the greatest bands to ever exist...the MC5.
I thought a baby strat was created when a man strat and a woman strat love each other very much.
What does the black painting in the pick up cavity do? Is it to shield the guitars?
Yes
Subscribed. I love my strat! Greatest guitar ever made! Maple fingerboards for life!!!
It's called wax potting. It's where they dip the pickup coils in liquid wax, which then enteres the coils and becomes solid, which stop movement of the coils and the hum because of the movement.
That's a Fender American Special Strat...... 1000$ currently
Thank you. The exact info I was looking for.
I would like to see how an Indonesian Squier is manufactured.
Probably the same process but with low tier materials.
My dream guitar
A tear just came out of my eye.
how can i get a job there!?!?! ive worked in manufacturing jobs before and i like that style of work but i also love and play guitar!!!! someone please send me a link or something!!!
Have you ever looked at their webpage? There's a link for careers at the bottom...
Awesome guitars...Just don't be a lefty and try to find any of the lefthand parts for an AM std. at a normal price
Best guitar ever made
Now it's time to change the world of music once again.
FAntastic!!!!!!!!!! I am so sad ,but i cant play gituar... biu i think , its not to late....
My father play fender since 60 "s. ......and I ?
Its never too late Peter! Go and buy an American stadt strat, its so easy to play with it!
It's never too late to learn to play Guitar.
***** i learnt by books never had a lesson but you are right but make sure you dont get into bad habits
You should‘ve used „Foxey Lady“ as backing soundtrack
Beautiful. Just beautiful
I dig how the guys just eyeball stuff like the trem block holes
They put a Single coil into a Humbucker routed guitar?? (3.15)
Makes production less expensive if you can make many different models using a single body rout.
First off it doesn't matter because the pick up is held into the pickgard not the body, second it's a plus if you want to change it and put a hambucker later on
They all are routed that way even the single coils
Yeah fuckboy
yes.
Hold on, y'all got quality control? How is Gibson even competing with Fender by now?
Thanks guys
Leo Fender was the King of Guitar manufacturing..
But the song tho
A Strat is porn...
🆒
I am so proud to have one of these!
woww thats so awesome!!
Every Strat is probably the same model, they just have different decals on the headstock. :-D
NOW SHOW US THE MEXICAN FACILITY
Is anyone else digging the background music
Wow.... beautiful
